Blake's mod-lounge chillaxin'-with-blacklights-in-da-club schtick is getting on my LAST nerve. He has a passably decent voice, but my GOD, this is not 1983.
Chris needs to never, ever, ever sing again. Ever. At least not until he discovers the wonders of not pushing everything through your nasal cavities.
LispKisha FINALLY tore some shiz up again...she was absolutely phenomenal last night.
Poor, poor Jordin...but, one hideous performance amidst a sea of brilliant ones isn't exactly a nightmare. She'll be fine. Just had a bad night.
Melinda, as always, predictable perfection.
Phil...feh. I like his voice, but I can't get past how unbearably Uncle Fester-esque he is.

My poor Jordin. That was horrendous. I still voted for her cause I love her, but only once.
Melinda...I love that girl. She was so fun and full of sass.
LaKisha was good, but I just am not a fan.
Chris R was an embarrassment and I pray he goes home tonight.
I think I'm the only one here that likes Phil. He's a little creepy, yes, but I love his voice. It's strong and powerful and last night, he rocked it.
And Blake. I have moments where I love Blake, but last night was not one of them. I hated his performance. Too gimmicky and annoying.

"Simon practically made out with her, Jane!"
Yes, He kissed the lips that could sink ships!
I want Chris and Lipshinka to go tonight.

Posted: 5/2/07 at 10:19amI'd like to see Chris and Blake go, but I'd be ok with Chris and Phil, or Chris and LaKisha.

phil was awesome...why the EFF hasnt he been singing like that all along? freak.
jordin was and looked a hot mess...love the camp factor. altho i didnt thinks he was as bad as they made her out to be.
for the first time ever i might've kinda-sorta enjoyed Kiki...but the kiss was creepy as ****. and the banter with ryan? about showing her slim side? gurl please.
our favorite bottom boi was pimp-tight, but hated the hair and the guyliner. in the words of randy, he blew it out da box.
chris was....chris. hate Hate HATE
who knew melinda could rock? i wanna see her rock out on some Tina Turner's Proud Mary. gurl is fierce....but then again i'm 100% biased. my new catchprase is a quote from her: "I like church"
i think it's anyone's game as to who could go home since they're allegedly combining last weeks scores too, but i'd probably say Chris & Kiki...but i think any one of them could go, with the exception of Jordin, based on her votes last week.

LaKisha for sure, despite last night's decent turn. I would venture to say that Phil might have been gone last week, but he just could have pulled it off and saved his bald head for one more go-round.
LaKisha and Chris, please.

Posted: 5/2/07 at 12:04pmThey're counting the scores from the previous week, too. I really, really want Blake to make the top three!

Did you notice she only blinked like, thrice?
I could practically see the Xanax bottle in her pocket.

Posted: 5/2/07 at 1:09pmI thought Phil was the best. Jordin, for the second week in a row, was mhy least favorite.

Posted: 5/2/07 at 1:34pmI only saw Jordin and she was really bad. Wrong song choice.

Blake beat boxin' his way through Bon Jovi was...eh, interesting, to say the least. I absolutely loved it when he sang "Mack the Knife", though. I sat there thinking, "Ahah! Threepenny Opera on American Idol! Yes!"
Phil and Melinda had the best performances, in my opinion.

I think going home is Phil and Chris.
Jordin had a bad week, but last week, she was amazing. I think her votes from last week will save her, I hope.
Melinda was great. I really love her. She's fantastic.
Lakisha was great too. Her moment with Simon was hilarious.
Blake was good, his performances all have to include beat-box. It gets kinda old.

I'm glad I'm not the only one here who didn't like Blake's performance last night. There was just something about it that made it look like he was trying too hard. I have to hand it to him though for making another departure from his usual style. "Imagine" was great last week, and this was the rocking-out performance I've been waiting for from him, but I just thought it was bad.
I think it may be Chris and LaKisha tonight.

"Blake was good, his performances all have to include beat-box. It gets kinda old. "
Except that the majority of his performances on AI have been beat box-free...
I didn't think he was "trying too hard". I thought he was being innovative. Everyone else on the show, good and bad, gave exactly what we have seen every year. He's trying new things. He's trying to be original on a show that most of the time REALLY lacks originality.

Jerby...I couldn't agree with you more. I absolutely loved Blake's performance last night and he doesn't beat box in every song.
I love how facts become irrelevant when people are trying to support their opinion.
