Dammit, what happened to Bisexuals: Why Do They Exist, And Will Society Ever Accept Them As Anything But Greedy Slutmongering Orgasm Addicts?

now did I say a lack of attraction equaled racism/prejudice? I believe I clarified that was not what I was saying.
I am saying that the harsh wording is the problem.
I am not going to continue to go around in circles on this. I believe I made my point clearly and you all have yours.
if there's nothing new to add, then I believe we are done.

Not all gay men have gone through the "try bi" phase...some of us have been raging, screaming polesmokers since birth;
Okay. That settles it. I'm having your babies for you.
I was going to bring up the whole Kinsey 1-6 scale thing. I recently got a letter from a woman who's dating a guy who is bisexual. She knew he was bisexual before they dated and thought she was okay with it, but now isn't sure and break things off. Here's what I told her:
It's been my experience that people most fear what they can not define. Gay? Okay. Straight? Okay. Bi? But...wait...how the...what the...
We all have this idea in our head of what's "right" for us. Straight guy, straight girl, gay guy, gay girl. Labels make us comfortable because it allows us to categorize and compartmentalize everything.
Then we are confronted with something that falls outside of these strict little parameters that we set up for ourselves. It's not that we question the other person and their choices...it's that we start to question ours.
If someone doesn't embrace or accept bisexuality, I see that as more about them then it is about whomever they might be analyzing or judging.

Dwarfs.
Aaaaaaaaaand, countdown to thread deletion.
At least we uncovered a few things.
Bisexuals - sluts who are hated by everyone.
Homosexuals - hate women
Women - don't really care.

"If someone doesn't embrace or accept bisexuality, I see that as more about them then it is about whomever they might be analyzing or judging."
I agree with that intellectually. But I can completely understand a man or woman not being able to accept bisexuality in a romantic partner.

I admit that my perception of a bi-sexual is that of a "player."
Monogamous relationships are extremely difficult for them, because a partner of one gender will never completely satisfy them, due to their basic orientation. They are attracted to both sexes, and probably always will be.
For that reason alone, I steered away from guys who told me they were bisexual on the "dating scene," but certainly not as people. I always thought their lives would be so unsettled. Of course, I’m projecting that they even wanted a monogamous relationship… they might not have.
But I knew I ultimately wanted one, and also knew that I wouldn’t be able to find that in someone bisexual.

Thing is, a bisexual guy (or woman) could easily find a lifelong partner in a person who was ok with an open relationship.
That said, I think of all the difficulties various sexualities have (women finding a straight man to committ, gay guys finding the same, lesbians finding a NORMAL lesbian - come on, that was a joke), bisexual guys probably have it the hardest.
Most women are going to just wait for the "gay" shoe to drop and gay guys are going to eye every female friend with suspicion. Unfortunate but, I'm guessing, largely true.
