It was really terrible.
Sorry, no great loss.

I enjoyed the one with Lily Tomlin and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. But I had no interest in the Real Housewives discussions that they seemed to mandate.
Kathy had said early on that Bravo mandated she talk about The Real Housewives a certain amount of time on each show.

I love Kathy Griffin, the show was bonkers and I loved it, especially this season with the live format and the insanely random choice of celebrities for the panel. I think it sucks it was cancelled.
I liked it at first, but it was just too unfocused with people talking over each other and too much time spent with guests looking confused trying to figure out what's going on.
Yeah, it's the talking over each other nd yelling to be heard (even if its all in good fun) that makes me switch the channel.
And the skits with the mother were truly pathetic and not funny.
I was shocked to see it got renewed for "season 2". This didn't shock me at all...
The first few episodes, with her and her non-famous friends just chatting and gossiping, were cute and enjoyable. But when it started to become about how many "stars" she could squeeze into one episode it became tiresome.
Andy Cohen has somehow mastered keeping a tight half hour entertaining with A-listers present. He's a good moderator. Griffin is so consumed with herself, her show just meanders. Glad its axed.
Cohen's show needs to be an hour long. I watch it every night but I don't think there's ever been once where it hasn't felt rushed.
I agree. Andy Cohen needs to extend his show an hour. I <3 him...and I finally got to tell him so last Thursday!
You went to Barnes and Noble too? Cool!

Carlos, I met him when he co-hosted at The View. He wasn't at all what I thought he would be like. A really nice guy and down to earth.
VERY down to earth. Seen him a few times at events and out and about.
I've seem him out and about too, mostly in the West Vill where he lives and I've waived and have said hello but last Thursday I actually got to have a (brief) but nice conversation with him. He's a total sweetheart. I love his "wonky" eye...LOL
I thought Griffin's show was finally finding its rhythm. Fewer guests, but better ones who seemed in on the joke instead of afraid of it.
But, no, we will not all remember where we were when we heard it was cancelled.
Cohen's show only gets decent to high ratings when Housewives or other "bravolebrities" are on. There would be very little interest in an hour long show, unless it was Housewives focused.
Andy is very smart-he only wants to compete with the evening news, not the late night shows after. If he went to an hour, it would be too long. Bravolebrities are best in small doses.

Yeah, Kathy's show wasn't that great. I only watched it during season one.
As for WWHL, I only watch it on Sundays and Mondays, which are days when a Real Housewives show airs.
Too bad. The show was very uneven, but I still watched. The thing with Kathy is, she talks too much. Which you would think would be a good thing for a talk show. But when the host is more concerned with getting a zinger in than letting her guests answer the questions, you’ve got a problem. The best talk show hosts are good listeners that know when to keep their mouths shut. But I still love her.
With Anderson Cooper's daytime gap fest being canceled after the end of this season, they should team up Andy Cohen with Anderson. They're a lot fun together on Anderson Live when Andy co-hosts. Like a gay version of Hoda and Kathy Lee, only less cloying. I love it when they refer to each other as "sweetie"!
Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen together is all sorts of A-MAY-ZING!
