Let's review...

Josh- Chief of Staff
Sam- Deputy Chief of Staff
Toby- pardoned, goes to teach at Columbia
Charlie- law school
Donna- Chief of Staff for First Lady
Annabeth- Press Secretary for First Lady
Lou- Communications Director
Bram- some job that involves the use of Charlie's office
Rona- ??
Debbie-??
Kate- following Will (??)
Will- presumably running for Congress in Oregon
Any others?
I loved the moment where Charlie was getting ready to leave. It has to feel odd to see new people moving in to "your" space.
The way the crew moved in to change everything over during the ceremony made me really sad. I suppose that is how it really happens.

Santos' secretary was adorable - just beaming as Debbie (Lili Tomlin) explained her duties. She finally gor to say one line near the end.
Of course, we know from the "flash forward" episode that C.J. and Danny get married and have kids.

I'm going to put a disclaimer since there was nastiness in the no retrospective thread.
There's spoilers. Duh.
I'm in denial that it's over.
I swore I wouldn't cry, but I lost it with the Charlie/Jed moment. We finally got some closure about what he's going to be doing. Great callback to the carving set.
I loved the Jed comment to Will about the mallet.
Even though I'd been spoiled, it was a treat to get Toby in spirit (c'mon, we knew via the 1st episode of the season) and a cameo by THE MAN himself, Aaron Sorkin. (Although funny that it was right after Cheno)
Although we all could see the napkin coming, it was the perfect way to end thing. I really lost it when Jed unwrapped it. A nice tribute to John Spencer and the show itself.
I feel like I've just lost a friend.
Wait...What flash forward?? I missed the first half.

While I agree that "What's next?" would have been the best way to end the show, tomorrow was a nice touch.
on a different note, i was (suprisingly) able to keep my composure til the last 5 minutes. I lost it when CJ went into the briefing room. that was just too much for me to handle.
I'm really gonna miss this show. Ugh, why do i get so freaking attached to TV shows?

The "flash forward" was in an episode a year ago. It showed the former staff members gathering for the unveiling of the Bartlet Presidential library (five years in the future). Jed said to C.J., "How are Danny and the kids?" The scene was written so you didn't know who the new president was.
For those who missed the show last night (or for those of us who want to watch it again) Bravo will air it again tonight at 8:00.
So, when will season 7 be released on DVD?

What an amazing show. I NEVER missed an episode, and even though television is just entertainment, I really feel like I lost a buddy.

Didn't think I would, but I got a little weepy. Great ending to a great show.
Final shows rarely live up to the hype, and are generally huge disappointments. The curse of the Series Finale.
The West Wing finally broke the curse!
The final show was the right blend of being sentimental and smart. Well written and beautifully acted. Bravo.
I loved it.
Wait a minute...stupid me missed seeing Aaron Sorkin...which one was he?
I liked the the (ex) Pres line. Very "Scarlett O'Hara".

Aaron Sorkin was in the crowd at the inaugural - shaggy hair, glasses.
I caught the re-air on Bravo last night. What was somewhat confusing to me is that if this episode took place on Inauguration Day, why is it that Alison Janey walked out the front gates onto Pennsylvania Ave. and there was no parade, no viewing stand, etc. I know it's a technical observation, but still.
Good catch! But IDN.
Also, when the little girl asked if CJ worked in the White House, and she said, "No". It really was a thinking person's show.
Well remember CJ was at that moment unemployed.(and ready to move on from her days in the West Wing)
