4:30am That's what time my phone rang for a conference call this morning regarding a delayed opening for school, due to the snow. Never got back to sleep. This is going to be one hell of a long day.

That said, it's also a happy day! Let the weekend begin!

Morning peeps! At work too. Main roads were clear, the side streets were another story. Luckily, I have anti-lock brakes. I don't think my neighbors would have appreciated me running over their lawn ornaments.

Wow - how pretty, Deet!

Speaking of idjits, I changed the switchboard message at 5:00am to say - RIGHT UP FRONT - that due to inclement weather, the school was opening 2 hours late and classes would begin at 10:00am. When I got to my office this morning I had two messages on my own extention: "Is school opening late today?" WTF?!? They had to listen to the switchboard message in order to get to my extention. And these were parent idjits, not student idjits.

Happy Friday!

I had one of the most interesting conference calls this morning. Very smart people wich much insight!

I am off to my college bar! Have not been there in years. Should be fun.

Mrs Brd and I are seeing The Merry Widow at the Lyric Opera this weekend, our first date in months! It is directed by Gary Griffin who directed The Color Purple.
