Greetings from Morris County jury duty assembly room. So far so good except for getting stuck outside for 15 minutes in line for the metal detector. It's cold!!!!

BTW when I got out of the shower this morning HC was up and our bed was made. He could sleep an additional hour. I asked him where he was going so early and he said "I'm driving you to the bus stop because it's icy out there and I don't want you to fall". As cold as it is out I melted. I think I'll keep him.

BB - as I get older and my marriage continues, I am trying to add those little touches to make our lives happier! I am also working hard this year on not being a jerk to anyone! Yay for HC. I have definitely been guilty of often ignoring the needs of Mrs. Brd during the last 27 years!

YWIW - glad things are stabilizing (as much as they can in this situation).

Perks of living in a very waspy boring area - dismissed by 11:30. though I wouldn't have minded serving, just as long as it was only 1 day. But now logged back in to work and a report from hell.

I have jury duty next week. My experience in Manhattan is that it's never just a one-day-and-done. I postponed from last August because of travel, but have to serve now, because I'm afraid if I postpone again I'll get called during the Upfront.
Next week isn't great, but it's better than May, June or July.

Dinner at Artisanal tonight to celebrate a friend's birthday. Cheese! Yum!

Mornin'

I'm so proud of the little leprechaun -- he was excellent in what amounts to quite a large role in the show, a "supporting lead" as it were. The show is entertaining, good not great, but made so much more fun by being able to see him on stage as polished, energetic and just plain wonderful as any professional should be.

And on stage: he doesn't look so little.
