brd, this is the first time I had red meat in a very long time. Uusally I eat chicken and fish. This looked too good to pass up though. The meat was bright red...it said "eat me" and I did.

'Morning!

I hit the store yesterday afternoon in an effort to beat the storm shoppers. Epic fail. They all got there before me. Bread, milk, etc in short supply and check-out lines reaching back into the aisles. I have no idea who's left to shop today. The one thing I didn't do was to pick up a Valentine for my hubby. Oops. At least he'll be fed.

It always seems I need milk right before a storm hits. Never fails. Just always works out that way. I'm not one to run to the store before a storm, so I always feel like one of those hoarders, like we'll be stuck inside for weeks. I stopped in Quick Chek on Sunday, thinking I needed both milk and half and half, so I picked up both. Turns out I still had about a half of the half gallon of milk left, and I just finished that last night, so I'm good. As for other food, there's stuff in the freezer and the pantry, so I'm okay there. And it's just me, so no need to worry about anyone else.

I think I got everything I need to pack now other than snacks for the plane. Seems like this is actually happening! :)

We are going to dinner and see the Lego Movie this evening as our Valentines event. Snow better hold off till we get home.

I've heard midnight, between 10 and 12, who the heck knows. I did get a text from my Police Station with a Winter Warning in effect message from midnight until 6AM Friday! This was the first I'd heard of Friday thrown into the mix.

Our snow should start @ 8pm tonight. Heaviest after 2:00am. I think we should just go ahead and announce that school is canceled tomorrow. I hate getting that call at 4:30am.
