^AMEN! This week has just sucked the life out of me.
It looks like the offspring and I are going to be heading to the US next week. I wish it was a happy trip. My grandfather is dying and my grandmother is over her head with his care. God forbid their two children, who live 3 and 15 minutes away, handle sh*t and really step up. Bah.

JG2 - so sorry to hear that. Can't get over his own near-by kids failing to step up. This is a family obligation, for God's sake! I hope they feel really guilty that you came such a along way to do THEIR job.
SOMMS - send someone over to you house to boost up the thermostat before you return home. You don't need to breath in cold air.

Morning peeps! Had a lovely Saturday. Saw "Beautiful:The Carole King musical" LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!!! A MUST see for this season. Enjoyed the TABOO concert at 54 Below after that. I thought HC was going to pass out being Boy George was sitting in a booth about 20 feet or so from us. Ask Girly how funny it was.
Sunday was a nice relaxing day with the usual chores around the house. Watched the Olympics and SKPED with our ever loving Shamey. Her and the girl send their love to all of you. We both had on the Olympics, but of course they were airing different events over there. So while I was watching some skiing thing they were watching figure skating. So by the time I saw Jason Brown skate I knew what was going to happening. hahaha

Morning.
Low key weekend. Still feeling under the weather a bit and Mr. Happy is experiencing some symptoms too so it was simple this weekend. Did get to catch up with some girlfriends for dinner on Sat and then others for sushi on sunday. I haven't really seen many people since I've been keeping it budget friendly in prep for trip and wont be seeing anyone for almost a month.
Now if only i could stop sneezing!

Crappy Monday indeed!
BB - made chicken marsala for the first time and kale crisps. Loved both! Will now be staples. Otherwise completely mundane weekend. Actually quite boring weather sucks snow snow snow cold cold cold! And, of course chores all weekend and was C15's taxi service all weekend.
