Ah. I do vaguely remember a PL Travers reference on FB, I think.
And I'm also vaguely remembering seeing Frankie Valli not too long ago. But I certainly didn't pay that kind of money!! Shortly before the Jersey Boys tour started, cause one of the guys singing on stage with him and the 4 Seasons, Erich Bergen, was leaving Frankie's show to do the JB tour. And I saw he's also in the film.

Morning Adults - I am just referring Mr. Travers in my head as the Ratbastard King- THankyouverymuch.
Most of yesterday at work was computerless, but hopefully today things are back to normal.
Three weeks from now I will be in NY - Whoo hoo. I still have to buy my remaining tickets, but I think I got the hardest ones to get - Lady Day and Hedwig. Now, I just have to figure out the rest.
One week from now I will be in meetings in CR. BOOOOO!
Happy Tuesday all.
Morning. I'm seeing Straight No Chaser in a few weeks, that's about all I have to report.
Wading through all sorts of crap and paperwork and family drama over here in these parts, but mr. happy and I are going camping this weekend so I try to focus on that. I am in DYER need of some framily time!!!
that absolutely works. Unfortunately, I am away for some, or most (I forget the dates) of your visit as I have the wedding out in Montauk, but I'm sure we can work something out!!

YWIW - I'm a few short, but almost. I've gotten rid of most of the dresses though, I have plenty of other things to hoard in my closets, though my trunk still has a few of the stupid wrap things that all the dresses come with and I never use. And I should be picking up the dress for the wedding in July sometime in the next week or two.
And people wonder why I don't want a wedding, lol.
I've been in two: ring bearer when I was a kid, and a groomsman* in my best friend from college's wedding. (not sure of the punctuation there, but p*uck it.)
And I'll be holding the Chuppah in Shira's wedding.
*Edited. Thanks, YWiW!

Yeah, damn autocorrect and stupid me for not proofing.
Yes, Brd, Shira's back in L.A. and apparently thriving.
Hola!
I'm with YWIW. I was in three weddings. That was enough for me. And that was before all this bachelorette party nonsense. Back then, I was lucky if I could afford the shower and wedding.

'Morning!
My daughter actually turned down a request to be a bridesmaid because it required TWO "bridesmaid" weekends at resorts, as well as a wedding party trip to Las Vegas, plus the showers, and two dresses - daytime wedding and night time reception. Unbelievable!
Good for her. That's crazy.
It's out of control. Just like kids parties and sweet 16's these days. UGH. It's one thing if you're made of money and everyone around you is, too, but...wow.

Aren't ya glad I didn't have a big wedding?
Mornin'
ETA: New Jersey (and environs) framily: I'll be in Ramapo on Saturday, May 3. Ramapo College is doing an evening of one-acts written by the members of my group; my play CHECKING THE BASEMENT FOR LEAKS is on the bill. This is the one that was done at Gallery and in Seattle last summer. It'll be interesting to see it performed and directed by college students.
Yep, it certainly is. Too bad B isn't still a student.

boooo... i will, ironically, be at a bachlorette party in NYC that night.
Morning. Happy Wednesday.
Oreo hasn't come out of the bathroom, and is being very weird, so I'm not having a good feeling about how long I will have 3 cats is residence. I mean, she's almost 20 any day could be the day, but would prefer it not being within days of moving in with me, lol. We already put my mom's dog down on Saturday (12 year old Pug named Ellie). And my brother is back in some type of lock up/lock down, not really quite sure of the details. April is not my month. Today marks the 7th anniversary of my step father's death, so hopefully this completes this morbid cycle my life has been caught in, and it decides to take a much more boring path for the next 7, lol.
Anywho - it's sunny outside, the birds are chirping. I heard it's going to get windy today though.
Someone just told me that they go there now and for the life of me I can't remember who it is.
I'm so friggin' excited over this JCS Arena tour coming to the U.S.!!!
So do I, Girly. Having now done two readings of GODDESS..., B gets my work. Really, really gets it.
It was already windy when I left the house in the wee hours of the morning. At least it was, down by me.
The only production of JCS I'm looking forward to at the moment, is being done by some stone church theatre group in Joisey.
Deet, is that a night time thing or day?

Night. I believe it's at 8:00, but I'll double check. I'm participating in a talkback afterwards.
