Double digits baby!

I said to the electrician last night after he told me to bundle up and he'd see me in the morning. So let's go over the things you installed.
1) Generator....needed the warranty guys come out to fix a defect
2) Hot water heater....he had a plumber install it, but I lost the hot water for a day until they came back to fix some error.
3)Heating unit...already changed the thermostat once because it was defective...now this.

I told him I can't wait to try the new air condition unit they installed this summer.
At least they haven't asked for any money to fix these problems....YET!

Every other day of the year my apartment is too hot, but on really cold days like this, it was freezing. Went around and put towels over windows, etc. and still it was freezing. brrrrrrr. But could have been worse so I will take it.

My legs are rarely shown!!! I did have a very low weight of 191 this morning, lowest since 2004. I just want some thawing so there are more spots on the street for parking. We have three vehicles.

Addy, it's been a lovely but quiet start to 2014. Many people are still away on their Summer vacations and my part of the town - the financial end - is almost empty. Deet, the tennis starts next week. Need tickets?

I am not kidding, we were waiting for the bus in minus one cold and it felt fine!

We will have 25 this afternoon and lower 30's tomorrow. One more car to dig out today, I am making C20's boyfriend do the chore!

Very difficult task informing the old man about extreme dissatisfaction of a client. He will blame me and accuse me of "sabotage".

They finally opened the bus lane into the Lincoln Tunnel this morning. The past couple of days they couldn't because the holes where the poles go were frozen solid.
