Yes, that will be nice. When I went over for puppy playtime a few weeks ago, I did get a rather long scratch on my arm from her. I guess I wasn't quick enough for her!
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2."unleash the girly"
Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch.
Back to the normal grind, but still in a post NY glow.
BTW - you know what, If/Then gets better and better the more removed I am. I keep thinking about difference scenes in the show, choices and reactions. I liked it when I first saw it, but now I really really like it.
Long weekend coming up - sleep, laundry, some working out, some homework, and maybe a wee bit of fun.
Morning. I assume it stormed over night. I've a new bedtime companion named Xanax so not much bothers me.
Awww puppy baths!!
My elderly cookie monster is so sweet, but I feel so bad. She'll be standing there and slowly start losing her footing and all 4 paws all start to slide and she cant stop it Adorable to see but still awww, my poor cookie monster!
I have to come in for 1/2 day tomorrow but boss won't be here so it'll be quiet. I have Mr. Happy's sister's baby shower tomorrow night (and I'm meeting her for the first time since she lives in MN) and then his cousins wedding on Sunday. Good thing I adore his family.

YOU, IF/THEN is a show that gets you wondering. HC and I had some interesting conversations after seeing it. The more we talked the more I like it, so I get what you're saying.
Tinky, awwwww...poor cookie monster. If I knew you were going to Mr. Happy's sister's baby shower I would've crocheted you a baby blanket to give her. I can still do one if you want to mail it to her later on. I can do it in the baby multicolor or color of your choice. Let me know and I'll get working on it. Of course it's free of charge for you...I have tons of yarn I can use.

And Boobs, there was so much going on in the story, I would actually like to watch it again. There was a lot to watch and take in. I also think Idina's performance gets stronger in hindsight. I think she deserved the nom, but Kelli deserves the win.
Aww, boobs, that is so sweet, but I think one of his aunts quilted her a blanket already. We just found out it'll be a girl (She's not due until September but taking advantage of while she's out here to have a shower together). I got her a bunch of cute clothing, but most specifically an "Unlce's lil Cutie" and "I <3 my Uncle" onsies. And then he picked out a Dr Suess book. I may or may not have been projecting all the excitement I should have had shopping for the soon to be nephew (due into this world next week!). And then shop for my other friend's baby shower next month. babies everywhere. But the flower girl at the wedding last week was all the birth control I needed. I'm good with furballs lol.

Awww Tinky when the time is right you'll feel differently. There is a lot more to do with a baby...like feed and cloth them, but it's all worth it in the end.
YOU, although I didn't see "Bridges..." I'm a big Kelli fan and I'm sure she deserves the award.

I haven't seen IF/THEN yet, but friends saw it twice in DC because they said that the story really stuck with them, so they went back to see it a second time. I enjoy thought-provoking theatre, so will definitely see it!
I waas talking with Ted Sperling at a Chorale Board meeting yesterday about BRIDGES. We were saying that it would have been the perfect Lincoln Center Theatre vehicle, where they have a large subscriber base to ensure that such shows run for a long time, despite non-sub based ticket sales. With word of mouth, I'm convinced it would have been a success there. Given the creative team, we were surprised that it wasn't produced by them. He also agreed that they totally missed the boat on marketing that one!
We have a really exciting new season with the Chorale - and more good stuff to come. I posted a link on Facebook yesterday. Can't wait to get started.
Our office is closed tomorrow, but I'll be in, thanks to my client. No comment.
Crazy thunder and lightening last night. It woke me up.
Meeting my friend this evening to go to the 9/11 Museum. *deep breath*

I have made it a high priority to see more shows this year to balance out all the other hell that has been thrown on me. Well I've seen no shows, so to see any shows is the plan! And I do have tickets for JCS! :)
Addy - the other bridesmaid in the wedding last week was the one that works for CBS< so she came straight out from upfronts, and had to leave the next day to catch a flight out to LA. I was having visions of them sending a chopper to whisk her away mid ceremony the emails and calls were coming in so much! What were your favorite shows you saw?

I agree with all as to happiness. C18 has a job - yay! C20 interviewing as we speak. However, the sister rift because of time spent with boyfriends is annoying. C16 has been working his butt off for final projects, papers and final exams next week.
I really want to get to NY this year!
Y - just prepared a document re: Uniform Transfer to Minors Act - so funny we we do something so out of the usual course of business.
Funny, I used to deal with those all of the time. I actually have a handy-dandy state break down of the rules. In California, you can delay termination of the Custodianship until age 25. We kept having to remind folks to continue to use the minors SSN for reporting purposes.
Tink, NJ has a small estate statute. The numbers are pretty low for transfers without administration (20K to transfer to a spouse, 5K to another heir). If there is not much of an estate, it can be used to transfer assets without formal probate proceedings.
And Brd - huh? If the minor is now an adult, the assets should transfer to the minor, and usually, the custodial status terminates. At least in most states.
We are using the small estate affidavit. The bank was requiring the designation of the new custodian. I believe that issue is that the account was not changed when the minor reached 18.
Tink - that sucks. Do you have a lawyer? Mrs. Brd works for an estate firm - send me message if you want me to run scenario by her bosses. Updated On: 5/22/14 at 04:20 PM
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
Delightful day out there. Last day of final exams and you can almost hear, taste ans smell summer break on the horizon. Lovely Senior Banquet last night, though my back and feet are still hurting from being in heels for 8 hours. My feet were made for flats. Cute flats, but flats nonetheless.
