I hate this time of year.
I miss my days in the classroom...
Congrats to all of you who have reached the end of another academic year! It's a wonderful feeling.
My niece graduates next weekend. I can't believe it...
Am looking forward to getting an early start on the weekend. Heading to CT. Tonight is a lobster-fest, which I'm looking forward to. Other than that, no big plans, which is fine with me! R&R!
Happy Friday!
Happy Friday ya'll!
Brd - that is such a nice offer, but I did go and hire myself an estate attorney, but there is so much crap happening all over, it's hard to keep up. But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, right?
2 more hours of work. wooooo!
Addy - enjoy that R&R!!!!!
Moony - how's the arm?

It was doing better until I got over confident and hand-cut flowers for 41 centerpieces yesterday. It's not too happy with me today. It needs a 3 day weekend.

So excited for the weekend. Mooney - Jesuit luncheon today and then going away for a night tomorrow. NO OFFICE WORK all weekend. Transplant funeral plants on Sunday. Have about 15 different plants! Monday - BBQ in the rain I presume. Alcohol in this order: gin, beer, rye, bloody mary, bubbly, beer, rye, vodka, beer, bloody mary, beer.
Happy Weekend!!!!!!
Happy Friday of a long weekend Adults!
Leaving early to get my car serviced/checked out before I drive up to SF next weekend for a wedding. Other than that, I have no plans for the weekend other than relaxing, cleaning up, working out, and checking in with friends.
Brd - enjoy.
Moony - be careful.
Addy - relax and enjoy - you definitely deserve it!
Tink - enjoy Mr. Happy and his family this weekend!
I think this year I am going to have to fine a Mr. Happy for myself! Although, at my it may be Gentleman Happy.

I will only work out on Sunday and Monday. I have been hitting the arms hard lately trying to get sexy! LOL! Actually, C16 has guns and I am ashamed of my duck egg biceps.
Howdy kids! A most enjoyable day off. Didn't get much done, but who cares. It's time for a cocktail.
Addy, I can't believe beautiful niece is graduating college. I remember sitting next to her at a dinner and discussing her college visits.
Cousin, am I going to have to drive down there and duct tape that arm to your body?
Sorry about the legal stuff, Tink. I get a headache when I read You and Brd talking legalize. But, I do learn.
We're going to Pittsburgh tomorrow for J2's nephew's 2nd wedding. Wedding/Reception in a pub tomorrow night, and a baseball game on Sunday. Home on Monday. Woo. Hoo.

A wedding in a pub isn't as bad as Hubby's nephew's second wedding. The ceremony and reception were held in a Gold's Gym. In gym clothes. The bride and groom are both weightlifters. No baseball game followed. Just a lot of sweaty grunting.
Stop it. They were competing. Well, that sounds even worse. I'll just see myself out...
Morning peeps! While most of you were still sleeping I was on a train into the City. My bus doesn't operate on holidays. I was on the 5:37 train I walked into a pitch black office. Finally some colleagues are now trickling in. Hopefully it will be an early day. At least I do get an extra day off for working today. There's my silver lining.

That is wrong on so many levels. But you already know this.
I hope Addy is not similarly occupied.
Moony, it was either working today or your birthday. I decided there is no way I will work on Moony's birthday!
Ugh. We have to work the day after Thanksgiving, but get all of the regular holidays off. some homework, but at least it is at home!
I think once you get all the accounts settled after the French market or whatever closes, you should leave.

'Morning!
I decided to come in an hour late today since classes are over. Traffic is SO much worse at 7:30am than 6:30am! Took me much longer4 to get here, but it's a trade-off, I suppose. Very few people in so far - must be waiting for the morning commuter traffic to end.
Delightful, restful weekend here. We really couldn't have asked for nicer weather, though I spent a good part of it indoors yesterday, getting a lovely spa treatment. Sacrifices have to be made, you know....
Happy Tuesday!
Boobs - sorry you had to work yesterday
My weekend was great, but full. The rest of Happy family is fantastic as expected. Baby shower went well, then family dinner on Sat night, and then the cousin's wedding on Sunday. And yesterday we brewed some beer and had a BBQ and family came back over. We co-host well. Which is good cause we are throwing a large BBQ in a few weeks. I need a day off to relax now lol.
Oh, and I'm an aunt. My brother's baby was born a week early on Sunday. Had major mom missing issues over it, but I'm happy all are happy and healthy.
Mornin'
Congratulations, Tink!
Okay, so I like Pittsburgh. (He says grudgingly.) The bride's sister: not so much. But Pittsburgh itself was kind of okay. And J2's sister-in-law was not nearly as unpleasant as she has been in the past. She's working very hard at being non-judgmental. She told me so herself.
"Elsa" is not J2's sister-in-law. She's his nephew's new sister-in-law. And it turns out she works for one of the ad agencies I used to work for. DYING to find someone I know who's still there who can give me the dope on her. DYING!
Nah. She's her own play. Maybe a 10-minute.
I like Elsa, most likely that other girl, not so much. I'll just call her Dupa. Why insult Elsa?
Congrats, Tink!
