Yeah, at a gas station a few miles away. Some of our students were late because a couple of roads were blocked off. They all managed to walk in carrying drinks from Starbucks, though, so at least their caffiene habits weren't affected.

BTW, I slept through my alarm today.  No, that's not true.  I shut it off, thinking it was Saturday, and cursing myself that I didn't check that it was set for a Saturday!!  It was 8:30 when I realized it wasn't Saturday!  Needless to say, I'm working from home today.

Girly - I totally woke up and swore it was Saturday.  The alarm went off and I yelled at Blair for not remembering to turn it off for the weekend!  Then the hungry cat alarms appeared and my saturday fantasy was shattered!

 

in allergy hell this morning... or at least I'm hoping it's just allergies.  

 

But it's friday!  But I ran 3.5 miles last night and my legs feel like mush now.  and get to do it all again on Sunday.  blargh.

 

(I finally stopped default typing BWW names into emails and now have to retrain myself not to type real names here....)

MT - that sucks! Much activity C17 off to school and Mrs Brd and her mother off to visit C21. I could not find their hotel reservation - took 30 minutes to confirm which hotel. 

70's in Chi today! Is Addy here?

I worked in the yard - warm in the sun but chilly in the shade.  C17 thought the ACT went rather well! Felt good about the reading portion not so sure about the science.  

My sisters attended a memorial service for those that donated their bodies to the medical school and picked up my father's ashes. We will bury this summer for a final farewell. Also C21 bought a luminary for my sister - picture made me cry a little!

Same here. Good for the yard and flowers.  Also cleaning all of the salt.  Gutters need to be cleaned.

Y - should be spectacular! The musicals at the Lyric are of another realm! Sometimes the acting by the opera singers is HORRIBLE!  But overall the productions are excellent!
