Allergies abound despite the snow flurries on Earth Day. C19 has a terrible sinus infection.

Mooney - the high school junior is now the grumpiest person I know. The stress of AP Bio ACT, etc has made him just awful!

What kind of pranks??!!  I love that stuff.  

Never did any of that kind of stuff when I was in school.  There was a ditch day, but that was it.  That I know of anyway.  I never heard of anything else happening.

 

It's not really that soon, is it?  Don't they graduate in May?

Fishing bagels out of toilets (every single f-ing toilet in both buildings) = not fun.

Repeat calls to the fire department = not fun.

Parking cars perpendicular across the driveway = not fun.

Nothing (that we know of) yesterday or today. So far. We threatened to cancel their Senior variety show, so they either took us seriously or ran out of ideas.

They graduate in May, but they spend the next 4 weeks off campus (praise be to Jesus!) doing internships.

 

Can't. Wait.

On each college tour - there is a story told my the undergraduate giving the tour about some old prank! Makes me chuckle every time knowing the prank is legend only! 

 

The internships must be a DC thing - Mrs Brd had the same thing in 198?????

We've been doing them since 1973 (I'm told). DC has such great resources that make it Internship City. Our girls get a lot of congressional, White House and media placements. When my daughter was a senior she did her's at the international HQ of the Peace Corps.

No kids here yet that I've seen.  Our Events manager just popped out a baby boy a few weeks ago, so she brought him in the other day.  Adorable if you like that kinda thing.

Most of management and a few others are out today, so should be a *knock on wood* pretty quiet day.  

 

Moony - yeah, I was reading that the showrunners and Madeline said that they won't rule out another season but it will not be with the same main cast, it can't be.  So that actually makes me happy.  It's limped on far enough already.  But you never know with these shows.

Have not watched Revenge. 

I rarely have to make the trip up to the high school - two in two days! Traffic sucks! 

Y - I have ticket offers to Carousel for this weekend. Not sure when to go but I will give you scoop on production!

Haven't had much of a chance to watch any tv at all. Working my @$$ off to save enough for NY shenanigans in June. Currently booked solid with freelance work until May 5, even had to turn down a client that wanted me full-time next week. I hope they don't get mad and not call me back *after* May 5.
