Just a thought - after the Brendon Stryker "death" thread they may just not allow it.
taz, that was my thought, also.
Good afternoon, Peeps!
Who was the thread about?

Who or what was condoled?
Now I'm wondering too - who died?
Glitzy! Miss you!
Hi ya peeps lah!!! Hope everyone is well today. I've been experiencing many sleepless nights with so much on my mind with my move back home, except last night I slept for 12 hours.
I hope any of my friends who are o FB saw the pictures I posted from this past weekend.
Those prawns are scary.
So you're moving back? When?
Love the photos, Boobs!
The poster known as BigFatBlonde apparently passed away after a struggle with cancer, Another poster, known as YipHarburg (or something like that) started a thread letting people know about the passing, and that BFB was a woman named Emma Thicke, who left behind a partner named Alice and many friends. There were many condolence notes, and I bumped the Kitsch thread as a tribute...
The original thread is gone, as is my post bumping the Kitsch thread in honor of Emma.
As this post will be, too, I imagine.
I don't know if they just don't want to draw attention to someone's passing, or if they suspect something. Mine is not to question...
DD..I swear...they were the size of a lobster. I had to make my Thai friend clean it for me to eat....lol.
I will be back mid-June. Waiting for my confirmation from my firm back in NY who is booking the flight. They finally decided on which movers, so that should be confirmed by tomorrow. I still have to sell some furniture that I am not moving back with me. Plus I still have 2 weekends planned in Thailand for my farewell tour.
Good thing you're bringing stuff back with you. Ya know, since we had all those EBAY auctions after you left.
Did we ever thank you for the NY weekend you financed for us?
Love you!
ETA: There are people here that have been slowly driving me out of my mind all morning. I fear the afternoon will be the same.

Let's hear it for the Farewell Tour
It's been an incredible success
We weren't quite sure, we had a few doubts
Will Boobs win through?
And the answer is yes!
I am picturing Evita on her tour.. Boobs on his rainbow tour!
LOL DD!!!

Ok, just got this text message from my daughter:
"Identity stolen. Bank account cleared out."
This kid is having one crappy year.
I was hoping that this could be like the Cher farewell tour....you know the one that never ends...lol.
Moony! That's horrible! I've been meaning to ask you how her arm is.

Arm's better than her bank account! She has 2 more weeks of therapy and her hand is at 505 mobilty and flexibilty back. I still have to help her with some things.
moony that is horrible! That happened to a co worker of mine. never fun stuff!
I hate coming back from lunch...ugh.
alcohol?
Addy - I thought you were replying to my post. Ha ha ha ...
Oi Moony - that's rough for your daughter. My ex went through that - the identity, not the hand. Hopefully she'll be fine, but it'll be a lot of work to clear it up.
Moony, that is awful!
I'm so sorry.
I hope the bank can restore her savings, and that it doesn't impact the rest of her financial picture.
I haven't had lunch... I should go eat something. Anyone have chocolate cake?
Poor kid can't catch a break. Sometimes they do find out who is doing it and set it straight...hopefully it will all work out for her.
Great. Now I'm craving Vosges.

Yes, this looks like it'll be a bit of a hassle. And get this - someone withdrew the money at various ATMs around the city at $500 each time until the account was empty, yet she's had her ATM card on her at all times. So this means someone duplicated her card AND knew her PIN number. Scary stuff!
Scary! You just never know where your card goes when waiters take it to scan them ...

But I would think that it would be difficult to manuafacture a card - complete with an encoded magnetic strip - and the correct PIN number.
