BTW y'all, some good news for once. I have been asked to direct a production of "Forever Plaid" at the Mac-Hayden Theatre in Chatham, NY!
Would anyone like to join me on the Almafi coast?

Excellent, Bobby - that's such a fun show!
Bobby, congratulations!
BOOBS! I would go back in a HEARTBEAT!
Yippee!
"Cause I've got a golden ticket
It's ours, Charlie
I've got a golden sun up in the sky"!
I ALWAYS know where to get good chocolate, DG, (...a skill that my Mother taught me back in days of yore).
"Come with me and you'll be
In a world of pure imagination
Take a look and you'll see
Into your imagination
We'll begin with a spin
Trav'ling in the world of my creation
What we'll see will defy
Explanation".
Great news Bobby !!!
Addy..how perfect would it be sipping Veuve and just taking in the views?
I missed DG's post about Provence.
So, we start in Paris, travel south to Provence and then head to Italy?
Boobs, it's about as perfect as it gets...
*sigh*
Travelling, friends, champagne and chocolate.
I just died and went to heaven.
Boobs-
The Amalfi Coast looks tempting, too!
Hi Addy!
Hi Jungle. I love that song from Charlie...
Addy..sounds perfect to me...so how long will we need to do this?
Jungle of course you're coming along.
Boobs, how long do we have? Can we stay a year? Maybe two?
Me too, Addy! Harry Connick, Jr. does a nice version of it with a little bit of "The Candyman" mixed in on his "Songs I've Heard" CD. I saw Johnny Mathis in concert a couple years back and he opened with "Pure Imagination".

If no one minds, I've engaged a guest pilot for the afternoon.
I'll bet Johnny Mathis sang that well! I love that Connick CD. I may have to put it on this afternoon...
...and by guest pilot you mean sitting on my lap?
*thud*
No stowing away needed, Pip. There is room for all!
Boobs - Would you like to lead us in the "Sound of Music" tour when we hit Salzburg, Austria???

If we head north, I want to at least do a fly-by . . .
Do we get to wear lederhosen??
DG,
I love Ludwig's castles! My favorite is actually Linderhof - a few miles away from Neuschwanstein. It has a dining room table that would be laden with food (by servants) and be elevated from below to the dining room so that crazy Ludwig could eat alone. He also had a underground grotto close to the house where servants would row him around in a boat while he listened to Wagner. Too much!
