Morning, All - from NYC

Enjoyed Barefoot yesterday - very cute all the way around. And I don't understand what everyone's problem has been with Amanda Peet - I thought she was fine.

Ran into Liotte very briefly at the beginning of Spelling Bee last night (and BG2) - but then couldn't find them afterward

Really enjoyed BEE - what a cast!

Enjoying coffee and catching up, then it's off to Lincoln Center for lunch and PIAZZA (YAY!) - and then the evening unfolds . . .

What a BEAUTIFUL day...

I just have to say that the BWW posse-paparazzi surrounding beacon while she waited outside the stage door at the Cort last night was a sight to behold!

Well, speaking for myself, I had a great time last night! Met up with Miss P and family, went to Wedding Singer, which was fabulous, then met up with a bunch of BWW ers for drinks and then on the way out of the Marriott, we stayed in the lobby and enjoyed quite a fine display of fabulous drag queens and their tuxedoed escorts departing a big gala at the Marriott. Got to sleep at 3 am and now getting some energy to go meet more BWWers~

Goodmorning from NYC - Had a great time last night meeting up with BWW'ers. Also looking forward to today. Have seen some great shows. More to come. I'm at an internet cafe, don't have a laptop of my own so limited posting for my week in NY. Just bought ticket to Wedding Singer due to the advice of others who saw it last night. Beautiful day in the city today-loving every minute of my trip.

My forgetter's getting better,
But my rememberer is broke
To you that may seem funny

For when I'm "here" I'm wondering
If I really should be "there"

Oft times I walk into a room,

I wrack my brain, but all in vain!

At times I put something away
Where it is safe, but, Gee!
The person it is safest from
Is, generally, me!

When shopping I may see someone,
Say! "Hi" and have a chat,
Then, when the person walks away
I ask myself, "who was that?"

Just wanted to say what a wonderful weekend it was - seeing so many old friends and meeting some new friends!

I have jury duty this week, so not sure how much time I'll have to post, but I wanted everyone who made this weekend so wonderful to know how much I enjoyed ALL the festivities.

It was, indeed, a faboo weekend!! So glad I was able to be there. For those of you who couldn't, drinks were raised in your honor!

I never get a jury duty summons. People I know get them over and over, but never me! I WANT to do it, unlike most of them. What am I doing wrong??

Good luck with Jury Duty Addy.

I've been in the initial pool of prospective jurors both times I got a summons...and

One was an icky child molestation case.

One was a drug case with murders, etc. (I could just imagine having to view crime scene photos.)

Luckily I was not selected either time.

But, I would like to serve on one sometime if it didn't involve a situation where evidence would make me squeamish.

Hugs to all the BWWers who I got to meet at Luxia. I'm so sorry I didn't get to stay longer. It was too quick a trip.

I was touched and felt so honored by the warmth and enthusiasm with which I was greeted. It was a wonderful, wonderful end to a marvelous weekend.

And, Eddie Varley sang to me. Can you top that???!!!

I am so humbled that you took time out of your busy schedule for our brunch/lunch date this weekend. It was great to get all the tips, etc about the shows plus get to know you all better.

You really made me feel so welcome and I can never thank you enough.

Liotte, I hope the amusement park went well. Emcee thanks for telling us the trick to TKTS. Undi and Addy--you two simply are the best. What a grand conversation we enjoyed. :o)

So nice to meet people, if only briefly. Hopefully, more time will come later.

My body won't adjust to the new time zone - and skipping an hour didn't help!

PIAZZA today was extraordinary - the cast now is exceptional, and the show continues to enthrall.
