I sometimes wonder if people even go back to read what the Celebrity of the Day has written.

I always do. I really ENJOY getting to know more about the people who are being celebrated. Which is kind of the point.

Thanks to Shameless, who, I feel, is responsible for shaping the positive direction that thread took, when she posted that she was happy to have the opportunity to get to know more about the people who post here. And then started asking questions.

Prior to that, it was a bit of a toast, but more of a roast.

Though... sometimes I think it should be a wee bit more about saying nice things about the celebrity and not ENTIRELY about asking them questions.

I'm still so moved by all the nice things people said to me when I was the CotD. I saved all of the posts... and read them if I'm having a crisis of confidence or feeling blue.

Honestly, that thread is something special!
