late night adult greetings. Lovely sunday, I'm ready for bed.

I'm housesitting... and they have this really nice, new space-age foam beds that are supposed to be so comfy. Well... I can't sleep on it! I had the hardest time falling asleep on it last night... and that's coming from the man who has a hard time falling asleep as it is.

Going to be 100 degrees in the Nation's Capital today. I feel badly for the poor tourists. Then there's a young lady I know who has two job interviews downtown today. By the time she finishes up in her 'power suit' and heels, she'll be nothing more than a puddle on the street. Timing is everything....

BTW don't believe anything these weather people say..they said it was cooler by the shore yesterday..yea what a degree? I was in Seaside Heights yesterday and it was scorching !!!

Okay..so I'm reading this keychain that I bought in Seaside yesterday and it talks about people born on my birthday and it says..."Charismatic,natural extroverts, they're often jolly using their keen sense of humor to appeal to others. Pass this on to anyone who likes sitting out in the evening or when they're having a cook out. So you don't like those pesky mosquitoes, especially now that they have the potential to carry the West Nile Virus? Here's a tip that was given at a recent gardening forum. Put some water in a white dinner plate and add a couple drops of Lemon Fresh Joy dish detergent. Set the dish on your porch, patio, or other outdoor area. Not sure what attracts them, the lemon smell, the white plate color, or what, but mosquitoes flock to it, and drop dead shortly after drinking the Lemon Fresh Joy/water mixture, and usually within about 10 feet of the plate. Check this out---it works just super! May seem trivial, but it may help control mosquitoes around your home, especially where the West Nile virus is reaching epidemic proportions in mosquitoes, birds,and humans.
