After seeing the penguins and puffins in the Zoo yesterday, we ran home to the AC and that movie. (I missed the Pink one, though. )

Lunchtime hellos. Walked into the office today to be told that we need to pack up and move to the other side of the building. They are tearing our ceiling out because it contains ASBESTOS. NOW they tell us? I've been in this office for 7 years and NOW they tell us? Glad I'm leving for Maine at the end of the week.

Yikes!

They did construction in my old office, and gave us all 'masks' to wear... it had to have broken about a dozen workplace safety rules. But, they also gave us a couple of days off to compensate, so we mostly stayed quiet.

Maine.......as in puffins, whales, art gallery and studios, whitwater rafting, sailing and.........lobsters.

But first hubby has to drive out to Indiana to see his dad who is having two surgical procedures this week. Then a 10 hour drive back here in time to pack and drive north for 13 hours. Good thing he drives a hybrid!
