What did happen here? I played a tricky game in a foreign country...
Addy - You are so right! Upon repeated listenings, the score to LITP just becomes more lush as its richness is revealed.
Cookie - Well, let's see...
On a central square, in a city made of statues and stories...
In a city of the sun rose a palace?
Was there a king? Was there a queen?
It was high and handsome gleaming like the crown of a king.
Oh my...I'm going to get teary-eyed.
I'll have to check if the local station is carrying it.
I can't believe I missed the original Seattle run of Piazza.
PBS?

Shira - seeing you say that tells me so much about what you have learned. The journey may not have been easy, but if it resulted in you accepting and expressing emotion, I couldn't be happier for you.
In the tower, a warning bell would ring.
DG -- thank you. That statement means quite a bit to me.
Drat! We don't get it until Sunday.
For a fire, or a river overflowing.
The warning that Shira is going to miss "History Boys" if she doesn't move her tuchus!
Ciao!
You know someone said on the bus last night that "The Color Purple" was up on TKTS..how sad is that? Still need to see it.
LaChanze has been wondering where her Boobsie has been.
When I get back I'll get tickets..too bad you weren't coming in Jungle.
Ok... I just had to send a note to our PBS station. They're airing Piazza on Sunday morning (11:30 am) and Tuesday late night (3:00 am). What the?!!! One would think that with the Seattle connection, and the quality of the show, they would have given it much better time slots. I am not a happy camper.
Thank you all for reminding me!! I have to pick up a tape tonight and tape it for a friend on another continent.
You know, if I want to live and all.
I did see the premiere of TCP in Atlanta (with LaChanze) in its pre-Broadway run. It's definitely worth seeing and LaChanze sings the heck out of the Celie role.
Last night I went to see the Steve Martin penned play "The Underpants" at our Alliance Theatre. It is most assuredly a farce - and has the handprint of Mr. Martin all over it. It was a fun evening.
The tarot cards say they see NYC theatre in my future in October. Practically Perfect!
Wow... already got a reply from KCTS.
Apparently it has something to do with when they have local programming scheduled... and the days PBS makes the program available. I am still disappointed. Of course, mostly because it means I will finally have to figure out how to set up my VCR to record.
