Monday afternoon greetings!
Our lovely Indian summer came to a screeching holt last week. It is definitely hot cocoa and football weather. There was enough warm sunshine to plant some winter vegies, though. No travelling for a bit as I'm looking after baby plants.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Weather was near perfection in the Great Pacific Northwest, picked my plays for an upcoming festival, have rehearsal for BBQ tomorrow, and we had our first sold-out performance of BA Saturday. Our closing is almost sold-out already, Friday not too far behind. It's gonna end with a bang, talking of a revival next year ... we'll see.
And managed to get in a two-hour bike ride today.

I hear ya, Boobs! I had a fabulous weekend, def don't want work ruining my good spirits.... but of course it will.
Went on a 4 mile hike yesterday and it was magnificent. Beautiful weather, great trail, beautiful ambiance... and only 15 minutes from my place. Now to get through the next few days so I can go to Boston on Friday!

Just fine and dandy, Tink. He gets his second round of vaccinations tomorrow morning, school ends for me on Thursday, so very soon I'll be able to take him into the park and really get down to training him to do his business outside. He's gotten used to being outdoors for short periods, he even enjoys it, but he still hasn't quite grasped the reason. 
And I'm just totally in love with him. Both of us are. Even the extra work keeping the apartment neat hasn't fazed either one of us. J2 has taken over giving Max his bath: "Why wouldn't I be the one? It's another thing I can clean!"

Very nice weekend here - couldn't ask for better weather. Nice dinner in DC with Hubby's college roommie and wife (they hadn't seen Hubby in 40 years!). Brunch with the family yesterday and then a fabulous night of TV.
Today? Rain and reality.

Hallo! Treated myself to a day off today. Hoping to not do much of anything, but we'll see. The Godbaby put on a very nice brunch yesterday. I brought the makings for bellini's. 
My cousin brought Ollie with her. I think she's trying not to leave him for too long a period of time. It's taken him almost a week to not be mad at her for leaving him for two weeks when she went to CA.
Weird dreams last night...one of which was a huge sinkhole in Boob's backyard. I was there, he wasn't, and I didn't know what to do! Where the hell did that come from?!

Happy birthday YWIW!!!! Glad the trip is everything you were hoping.
I stopped by my Grandfather's yesterday (dad's dad). I used to pretty much live at the house, esp after my grandma passed in 2003. But in the past few years I've only seen him on Thanksgiving or Christmas. But I finally got over some of my issues and stopped by for a while yesterday and it was a lovely lovely visit. I mentioned that a lot of my friends are doing ancestry projects and his eyes lit up and he spent the next 30 minutes vividly accounting for when he did our ancestry by hand 10 or so years ago. Such a nice moment.
