I was surprised to see so much of Macy's blocked off for the renovation a few weeks ago. When is this project supposed to be finished?

First round of install was supposed to start next week, which was my hell the two days before leaving for wildwood.... but then of course they are not ready and is now starting mid july I think. Whatever they do this year will need to be done by end of Sept, and then pick up again after the holidays. We have a 3 year contract with that store specifically. and then we are doing a bunch more initiatives there and other headquarter stores. Fun Fun.

yay for the business, but boo for the stupidity of the deal they set up which is almost impossible to meet. Such is life.

Yes, he de-activated his FB account for a while, then when he came back, I don't think many (any?)of us were still on his friends list. He may be trying to gently (but akwardly) excuse himself from the group. He's done that before.

I was still a friend when he closed and reopened his account, but as of today, I am unfriended. Where is the Deetster?

Maybe he wants to keep his FB for family only? Who knows.

I think Max has taken away Deet's computer privileges.

I'm not sure how I would feel to be unfriended by people. It's probably for the best that I removed myself from FB before it became a megalopolis.

Actually, Hep, I do. Very little makes me happier, weather-wise, than a cool, overcast day. Add rain or snow to that and I'm a happy camper! Weird, huh?

I have to go out in this muck. Traffic is at a stand still on the freeways and trying to get to the outer 'burbs will be fun. So, I wouldn't mind a nice Summer's eve in which to wend your way to a dinner with a friend. Now, if I could only find a friend.

This seems to be Q's annual thing. He gets overwhelmed by technology, and then just shuts down. Hopefully he will reemerge soon.

Is anyone having trouble with the BWW pop-up ad today?

Usually it just appears once, I 'click to close' and never see it again. Today it's popping up every 5 seconds. Annoying...

'Morning! My boss already appeared - twice. She's been off site for a conference this week and everything was peaceful and quiet. Now....not so much. Hopefully she'll slow down in the heat of the day. 101 today!

Too hot, even for Max. We went out, he did his stuff, he headed right back to the apartment, looking at me with this WTF!?! expression. Now he's sitting in his bed in front of the window in the bedroom looking out at the park, while I write.
