Did it go pit-pitty-pat, plunk-a-plink, plank?
Looking forward to a short day at work today. Then dinner out tomorrow and a movie. Friday, a day in Milwaukee visiting the museum, eating German food and picking up some cheese and sausage. Then having friends over to decorate the tree on Saturday.

I think no matter what I decide everyone will call him what they want lol.
I am seeing Muppets on Monday!!! I would love to see it sooner but I hate people so I wisely stay away from all shopping complexs all weekend. I seriously think seeing RENT on Tday Eve a few years ago when it came out with Chris almost ended our relationship, lol. He was such a trooper!
I'll go out locally tonight, then dinner with Mom tomorrow at the restaurant my bro works at. Then I'll ditch them and go by my dad's side of the family for dessert. fun fun.

Wishing all my framily a wonderful Thanksgiving! MWAH!
Did Moony disappear in the table mess?
My cousin texts me this morning telling me she has an important FB question and telling me to check and see if I can see what she posted and to call her. So, I checked and I all I can do is just shake my head:
"Today is my Thanksgiving! Kids are leaving early AM for NC. So I'm getting my turkey ready for the oven. I take it out of the bag and...MY TURKEY HAS NO LEGS!!!!! Who knew they sell just breasts? Obviously, NOT ME! Hope nobody likes dark meat! Happy Thanksgiving!"
I call her, and she's telling me the whole thing about removing it from the covering and she's laughing so hard, I can barely make out what the heck she was saying.

Oh, how I miss a D2 and J2 Thanksgiving. This year involved my BF's family meeting my father, which went surprisingly well considering how much of a disaster things can be.
I have been thinking about so many of you at this time of year. You have all been such an integral part of my life. I wanted to come back here, to this place where so many friendships have been formed. However short or long, each interaction that I had with you formed me into who I am today, which is significantly different than the person who used to be here all the time. I'm still "me", that person who you hopefully remember laughing both with and at, and who you watched make some astonishing mistakes in her life.
When people ask me what I miss about New York, you all go through my mind. My fairy godfathers guided me, my fairy sisters helped me, and you all gave kindness, time, patience, and friendship when I needed it most.
I read through this thread, and I'll go one more back, at least.
Miss you all.

You've both been drinking again, haven't you?

I go away for a few days and everything changes. A new thread, already? My goodness.
Hope all my dear American adults had a wonderful Turkey Day.

Today has been work all day. Good work though, figuring out kickstarter and getting press releases ready and blog post and stuff. After 3 days of doing nothing, this was a much needed day.
Love you and miss you! I'm hoping Framily T-day next year works.

I wasn't due back in until tomorrow. Was going to try and get some shopping done. A friend's daughter died Saturday and the wake is tomorrow out in the middle of Long Island, so I switched my days.
