SOMMS - don't let that gunk settle in your chest. I did and I developed broncitis during Christmas week.
Super busy day here. We have a big Hall of Fame induction ceremeny and reception this evening, admission interviews tomorrow and the Winter Ball tomorrow night. I might as well sleep here for the next 48 hours.
Tink - I'm down 1 1/2 pounds in one week!

Wow, Moony, you never have a dull moment over there at that school!!!! I plan on being on my couch or recliner with a stack of DVDs and two books until Sunday 1pm when my game is on.
Yay!! That's awesome! I have no idea as I am not weighing myself regularly. I d/l the calorie/fitness tracker on my phone and have been using it all week. I've stuck to under 1300 calorie intake every day (which I just found out is too low, yay, and I have to up it) and have done three days of gym so that's gotta have had some improvement.

Under 1,300 calories? Good God what were you eating - lettuce and rice cakes? On Weight Watchers, all fruits and most veggies have zero points so I snack on those all day and I'm not hungry.

I think I'm winning the battle of the phlegm. It's just the rib rattling cough that's keeping me down. But, I made the bed so that I won't get back in it today. The sprained wrist seems to have healed due to wearing the brace 24/7. Can you tell that I'm a terrible patient? The good news is that I have had no appetite at all for four days and have only had soup and liquids for the most part and am down three pounds. Only 47 more to go.

The old "starve a cold" diet, huh? I really should have held off rejoining WW until after the new Girl Scout cookie came out. I am all about lemon cookies.

lol, i've actually been eating alot. 3 scrambled egg whites and a banana in the morning is only 164 calories which leaves plenty of room for a decent lunch and dinner. Plus i got the WW colby jack cheese sticks which are only 60 calories, and the special K sour cream and onion snack chips - 30 chips is 100 calories. and i've increased my water intake big time which helps fill me up.

I LOVE the Special K "Sea Salt" crackers. I usually keep them in my desk drawer for a snack. Time to replenish.

Yeah, I've been doing the water thing, too, but the ladies room is too far from the office.

I love the Special K chips! 15 chips and 3/4 cup of salsa is a great 100 calorie snack. Of course, I make my own salsa from Tastefully Simple Salsa Salsa. Visit my webpage for details. I'm sick, Girly, not dead.

Special K has been my cereal choice for a good 8 years, and I got into the snack bars years ago, but then they came out with so many products it was hard to keep up so i just stuck with the cereal. My friend had these and I devoured them while tailgating. So when they were one sale this week at the store I picked them up, yum. I'll have to try to sea salt ones.

My dieting plans were foiled by the PartyLite party I went to last night. Not that there was any doubt, but I am not into scents at all. So I consumed wine and fed on goodies to make up for it. And bought beer bread.
I got permission from my boss to change my hours to 9-6 due to the new tolling on the bridge - prices go down by almost $1 each way after those times. Of couse, I wake up at 6:30 am today. *sigh*

A little birdie told me to hightail it over here.
Hi, kids. Yes, it's been a busy first week of the New Year. The boss is moving his home location to Florida. Was going to go the end of the month/beginning of February. Two days ago, decides to up his move to the end of next week. *tears hair out*

I can recommend a good hair stylist, Girly. He did wonders for me when I had hair and he'll work wonders for you with those torn patches...

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

FYI, Trader Joe's has a low calorie lemonade that is made with Stevia. It is 40 calories for 8 ounces, and I cut it 1/2 with water. (I drink a lot of water, and sometimes need something else). It is pretty tart, so watered down it still taste greats.
Taking today off - the nuclear bomb that almost exploded last week was defused and all is in order - so get back one of the many days I lost last year. I plan on finally seeing "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."
Tink has inspired me - I will walk to the movie and get a little workout in that way!
Oh, and slow cooked oatmeal today. (Note, if you eat oatmeal and are trying to lose weight, do not use instant, use slow cooked - it has a lower glycemic index).

I have to say I hate Stevia. It leaves a really bitter taste in my mouth. My husband uses it in everything and I can't stand it. I use the instant oatmeal because I eat breakfast at school (that's what happens when you have to leave the house by 6:15am) but I use the plain variety with a half cup of Fiber One, a dash of cinnamon and a packet of Equal.

I don't like any of the artificial sweetners. I dont use sugar a lot, 1 packet in my cup of tea but I tried switching it to the splenda they have out, ick. So I just stopped putting anything in.

Honestly, i do not find that it has that nasty Stevia after tatse. I generally don'e use artificial sweeteners either. figured I did enough damage in my younger years with all of the diet sodas. So now, tea is without anything except maybe some lemon. The lemonade does have some organic cane sugar in it - but the 32 ounces is equal to that of a soda. No high fructose corn syrup.
I generally drink tea and water, or watered down juice, and just got sick of it. So it was a nice alternative if you like tart lemonade (at least for me!).
And Somms, feel better, and be careful. Take thee to a doctor!
