I am so confused - I thought Deet had a second ID he had to use when posting from iPad (often at Whole Foods), and I read someone's posts thinking that was the case, but now I see that it cannot be the case.

The mind reels. Somewhere there is a parallel universe laughing at me.

You're not nuts, You (at least on this account). I thought the same thing a few weeks ago. Deet did create another ID when he couldn't log on at one point. There is another member whose name is very, very similar to that ID.

I thought the same thing, and have been confused by that same poster. I should just stick to this thread

I hit the wall this weekend, and got that nasty fever/sore throat/swollen glands/can I just crawl in a hole and sleep thing that's been going around. I thought I'd managed to avoid it, but *pow* woke up on Sunday feeling as if I'd been hit by a truck. So, yesterday was a lost day (and I had many things to do...). I am staying home from the office today, as I still have a fever. I'm trying to do a few things from home, but mostly I just want to sleeeeeeeeep.

But, have to take part of today to finish up some tax/estate work for a meeting I have on Thursday. I'm so drained from all of this...

Watched 'Mad Men' last night. Lots of new storyline set-up, I think. I expect the season will be great, it's just going to take a few steps to get there. But, can you say 'sex kitten'? Oh my! Watching Jon Hamm shave was a treat.

Back to bed for me... Enjoy this day!

Sorry for the confusion -- I don't know how it happened but suddenly I was able to log in under this screen name so I've sort of abandoned the other one. Especially since the other other one began to post prolifically after I created the other one.

Feel better, Addy. A couple of my students have had that thing but mercifully have had the good sense to stay home.

Or go to Mexico. I'm still not quite sure.

I didn't realize that Max Von Essen is in Evita. I wonder if he remembers taking a picture of my friends and me at Joe's Pub one night. A friend, visiting from Australia didn't know who he was. He was sitting at the table next to us. My friend shoved his camera in Max's hand and said "mate, would you mind taking a picture?" I believe tears was streaming down Girly's face as she fought back the laughter.

So who's cold this morning? After temps in the 70s and 80s last week, 34 degrees came as a shock this morning. I feel badly for anyone who went ahead and put in tender bedding plants.

I don't mind the cold because until April when they turn off the heat, the warm weather just makes my apt a sauna.
