I don't know if it's out there.. but if someone can find karaoke for Another Hundred People from Company.. I'd be very happy. That's a song that would be too hard to do a capella.. but I really love it.

I was going to try to have someone take out the vocals and just use the original Sondheim track. I'd really like to do "I Know Things Now."

As far as the trip, it was amazing. I am far too tired/stressed to go into details right now. I'm just trying to make it through the next hour and a half without having a total meltdown.

My brain hurts.

I agree - most (all?) Sondheim is pretty iffy when it's a cappella.

Oy! If/when you read this, do you have a back-up or alternative in case no one can find any Sondheim karaoke?

Not a clue. Maybe "Beautiful Day"? Because as tragic as this is, I am really unfamiliar with U2. There, I said it.

As far as freestyle, I have no idea. Was thinking "You Don't Know This Man" from Parade.

Either way, my voice hurts too much to think about this right now. Get back to me in a few days.

Ahhhh!!! "You Don't Know This Man"! *dies* I had to listen to TDiva do takes of that 6 or 7 freakin' times and then she changed her mind on the song, and then she QUIT!

As for your U2 song, I like "Beautiful Day". I'll think of any other ones I think you'd be good at, but "Beautiful Day" works.

I think as long as you do it well, you'll get a votes from that built-in audience. Diva got her personal highest number of votes when she did "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" from people with Phantom-inspired monikers, and I never heard from them again.

I want to kill myself, if that's any indication. My stack of scanning has tripled since I left, the computer network was down this morning, and the copier broke as well.

Add that to the fact that I'm still on London time and only got 5 hours of sleep since Saturday night London time...cranky Kitzy.

No, you guys still vote for the two people you want to make it to the finals. We'll cut it down to one person for the last round. (Obviously.)

Kerrie, try PMing Allie and see if she's able to remove vocals from "Another Hundred People". She's done it for a lot of her tracks, I think. I don't know much about Sondheim (*ducks*) so I am pretty much indifferent to what you guys choose.

Nope! I can not find karaoke tracks to ANYTHING by Sondheim. So, acapella it has to be even if it sucks.

So, here is my list so far:

U2--"Still Haven't Found . . . "

Sondheim--"Giants in the Sky"

Freestyle--Still iffy. Nothing is promised until I record myself and see which one sounds the best.

Spidey, there are Sondheim Karaoke options out there, I think Johanna is a solid choice.

Kerrie, thanks for the interview. You were awesome. I am still hoping to find AHP, but Being Alive is also solid, although it does not show off that comedic range I was hoping for.
