Amazing beyond words. But I have a wicked cough, a sore throat, and very little speaking voice. And of course I'm a receptionist
Meh who cares? As long as you had fun!

Kitzy's back!!
I don't know if it's out there.. but if someone can find karaoke for Another Hundred People from Company.. I'd be very happy. That's a song that would be too hard to do a capella.. but I really love it.
From Sondheim, I am doing "Giants in the Sky"
Did you find karaoke for it?
Kitz, where'd you go? What did you see? Who did you see? Did you go shopping? Hit the pubs and discos? Go to Abbey Road? British Museum? Top Shop? Oxford? Bond? Pictures! (PS. You've got a week to get your voice back, so take care of it!)
Spidey, did you find the karaoke for it?
Kerrie, I'm looking for "Another Hundred People" karaoke now but I can't seem to find anything.
Can anyone help?
Gah. Sondheim is going to be tricky to find anything for. And even trickier to do a cappella.
I was going to try to have someone take out the vocals and just use the original Sondheim track. I'd really like to do "I Know Things Now."
As far as the trip, it was amazing. I am far too tired/stressed to go into details right now. I'm just trying to make it through the next hour and a half without having a total meltdown.
My brain hurts.
I agree - most (all?) Sondheim is pretty iffy when it's a cappella.
Stephen's getting home tonight.
Oy! If/when you read this, do you have a back-up or alternative in case no one can find any Sondheim karaoke?
I tried taking the vocals out of Another Hundred People but they were still loud. Just echoy.
Okay, Kitz. "I Know Things Now" it is. What's your U2 song?
And what's your guys's freestyle song?
You know, I wish we'd done a "standards" week. I'd love to hear someone crack out "Unchained Melody".
Not a clue. Maybe "Beautiful Day"? Because as tragic as this is, I am really unfamiliar with U2. There, I said it.
As far as freestyle, I have no idea. Was thinking "You Don't Know This Man" from Parade.
Either way, my voice hurts too much to think about this right now. Get back to me in a few days.
I'm going ahead with Defying Gravity. And preparing myself for all hate PMs I may recieve!
Ahhhh!!! "You Don't Know This Man"! *dies* I had to listen to TDiva do takes of that 6 or 7 freakin' times and then she changed her mind on the song, and then she QUIT!
/mini-meltdown
Sure, go for it. It's a nice song.
As for your U2 song, I like "Beautiful Day". I'll think of any other ones I think you'd be good at, but "Beautiful Day" works.
How's work going?
I think as long as you do it well, you'll get a votes from that built-in audience. Diva got her personal highest number of votes when she did "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" from people with Phantom-inspired monikers, and I never heard from them again.
I want to kill myself, if that's any indication. My stack of scanning has tripled since I left, the computer network was down this morning, and the copier broke as well.
Add that to the fact that I'm still on London time and only got 5 hours of sleep since Saturday night London time...cranky Kitzy.

Awww. Pobre kitzy!
So this round, do we only vote for one person? Or for who we want out?
Okay, I found karaoke for Being Alive (also from Company.) So I'll do that.. unless by some miracle, the karaoke for Another Hundred People is found.
No, you guys still vote for the two people you want to make it to the finals. We'll cut it down to one person for the last round. (Obviously.)
Kerrie, try PMing Allie and see if she's able to remove vocals from "Another Hundred People". She's done it for a lot of her tracks, I think. I don't know much about Sondheim (*ducks*) so I am pretty much indifferent to what you guys choose.
Alrighty, I'll do that now..
Nope! I can not find karaoke tracks to ANYTHING by Sondheim. So, acapella it has to be even if it sucks.
So, here is my list so far:
U2--"Still Haven't Found . . . "
Sondheim--"Giants in the Sky"
Freestyle--Still iffy. Nothing is promised until I record myself and see which one sounds the best.
Johanna is on I-tunes.
Oooh, Oooh do Johanna!!
Kitzy, Welcome back!
You have been missed.
Spidey, there are Sondheim Karaoke options out there, I think Johanna is a solid choice.
Kerrie, thanks for the interview. You were awesome. I am still hoping to find AHP, but Being Alive is also solid, although it does not show off that comedic range I was hoping for.
I had a lot of fun with the interview. Glad to have been there. You guys crack me up.
I'm open to suggestions for the Sondheim song. Being Alive is just all I could find the karaoke for.
