I more relevant question, since he's running for US Senate, might be to ask Mr. Booker if he's liberal or progressive. Sadly the answer would be know. He's funded by Wall Street and as Mayor of Newark he mainly looked out for Corporate interests. His corporate education "reform" has been particularly destructive in Newark. He pretty much parrots everything the awful Michelle Rhee spouts.
Corey Booker was a pretty awful Mayor. And he won't be a liberal Senator. He is good at Twitter though.

Posted: 8/28/13 at 9:22amI am perfectly fine with a politician not trying to live up to a label of progressive, liberal, conservative, etc. Someday, folks will recognize that POTUS is not a progressive. Looked at objectively, the health care act and stimulus would both be considered to the right of center.

Yup. I work in an impoverished urban school (and not for a school board and I'm not in a teacher's union) so I could tell you from first hand experience how destructive his idea of education reform is. I've seen it first hand. It's the Jim Crow of 2013.
It does benefit his Wall Street friends who make money of charter schools though.
