I am currently reading the beautiful prose of Marilynne Robinson's Pulitzer Prize-winning GILEAD.

I recently finished A GRIEF OBSERVED by C.S. Lewis, and I started MERE CHRISTIANITY.

Christopher Rice's LIGHT BEFORE DAY, while convoluted, was an engaging read.

erika - I just finished both of those. King seems to be getting out of his rut. Cell was fun. And Saving Fish was a slight departure from the typical Amy Tan, but it was utterly fascinating. I loved it.

I started CELL when it first came out but I got so grossed out about 100 pages into it that I gave up. Has anyone read THE ALCHEMIST by Paulo Coelho? I am about to start it.

Just finished Little Children and was quite dissapointed by the ending, but over all, i enjoyed it.

I'm moving on to Bedlam by Greg Hollingshead. i'm SO excited.
