Since we were discussing it in another thread, I thought I'd start a thread solely for any hot sales for DVDs and BDs. We can post any great finds here!
I'll start it off:
While some purists on Amazon have quibbled (understandably) about the "completeness" of it, I have this set and love it. It has 80 Hal Roach Little Rascals shorts. And this is a great price! Together with the Warner Archives release of the MGM Our Gang shorts (the later ones when they were older), you have almost everything they made. Little Rascals Complete Collection for $31.99

I wonder if that transfer of "The Graduate" is a better version than the crap they did with the phony letter boxing for the last anniversary dvd? Also.. got the e mail from amazon today.. Avatar pre-sale. Avatar
Since my dad is in for a rough time, I just bought him a Blu-Ray player, knowing he would have a lot of fun with a new toy, so I'm definitely on the lookout for some bargains.
As a distraction, I've been immersed in season one of Scarecrow and Mrs. King, which was FINALLY released on DVD. That show is still so much fun, particularly because of the chemistry between Jackson and Boxleitner. And I never get tired of that brilliant theme music.

DAME---I don't have "The Graduate" myself, but I've not read anything bad about the 2007 transfer. According to this site (including some screen grabs), it improves over the 2000 DVD. Looks like Anne Bancroft is less greenish, and you can see a little more at the top and bottom of the screen.
Taz---that's a great link!
For those into retro TV shows, the individual seasons of "Bewitched" are now on sale at Costco for $12.99 each. That's a huge discount. They're usually around $22 at best. See Graduate samples

My dad and I went to Costco and I got Amadeus for $16.99 and Golden Compass for $12.99. My father chose The Last King of Scotland and National Treasure (the first one) for $12.99 each.
They had Ghostbusters and Men in Black very cheap, but I didn't know if the transfers were any good.
