I can't wait to watch Brandy! I loved her as Cinderella!

The "Rapper/Actor Guy" is Kyle Massey who played Raven's younger brother in THAT'S SO RAVEN and its spin-off CORY IN THE HOUSE.

The cast looks better than it has in the past, in my opinion. Not really any "s/he's already danced professionally before's" on this list. haha.

He said professionally as in it's their job to dance.

I've never watched before, but Margaret Cho, Florence Henderson, & Kyle Massey make it seem worth it...

I think this cast has topped the trashy list. Of course I'll still watch it though. I mean, do we really need Bristol Palin, The Situation, Audrina Patridge, and David Hasselhoff all in one season?

I'm happy about Jennifer Grey though. I don't know most sports people, unless it is a sport I really like and pay close attention to.

Usually the football players do pretty well though. But I agree about all of the reality stars and Bristol who is not a star of any type.......reality or other. Oh wait, I guess she did do a guest spot on the Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Kurt Warner's a Jesus freak. We all know how well that worked for Kathy Ireland.

I'm surprised he'd do a show where there are so many scantily clad women.

About Warner, he has one of the most amazing rags-to-riches stories in all of sports. He didn't start in college until his senior year at Northern Iowa, went undrafted by the NFL, got tryouts with two teams but got cut, stocked shelves at a local grocery store, played Arena Football and NFL Europe, eventually got a tryout with the Rams and was signed as third string QB. If not for injuries to their top two QBs, he may have never gotten a starting gig, but went on to become one of the most prolific passers in NFL history.

As for his faith, he is an evangelical Chrsitian, but other than opposing stem cell research, I know of no controversial causes he has supported. He does plenty of fudnraising for non-political causes like children's hospitals and single parents.

I don't besmirch his accomplishments, but DWTS seems like an odd fit for him. He says about as much in USA Today, because, in his words, his overt and very public Christianity can be interpreted as a stigma. He's says his doing it to show off his lighter side.

As long as he doesn't put his foot in his mouth like Ireland with her little post-dance pronouncements, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Looks like the crazy Christians may have to choose between Palin and Warner.

Anyway, in most circles, I feel like my covert and very private atheism can be interpreted as a stigma.

I have dealt with more overt judgment and animosity since coming out as an atheist than I ever have as a gay man. I've also had a few friendships end.
