I like Chris Daughtry's voice, and I like looking at him, but damn, his music is boring.

The Hoff sucked, of course, but I wanted him to outlast Michael Bolton for the entertainment value.

I'm loving Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey. I have a soft spot for Florence Henderson, but I wish she'd stop with the cougar crap. Carol Brady is not a sexual being!

blueroses, not all of the music is like what they have released as singles. I blame the record label, because I don't know why they keep releasing "ballad" type songs when there are so many other songs to choose from.

I thought Kurt Warner was pretty darn good. Once he loosens up, he may be a serious contender.

I've always felt that football players make good dancers.

I was so nervous for Kyle! Glad he and Lacey made it to next week.

As much as I dislike Sarah Palin my first thought was that they were booing because they expected higher scores for Derek and Jennifer Grey. I would have booed those scores too and not Palin. At least, not when she's actually in the room. That seems dangerous.

I couldn't tell if Michael Bolton was sick, defeated or just gave up. It was one sad little spectacle even if he was terrible.
#85

DWTS Cast

Nobody was booing Palin.....they were definitely booing Jennifer and Derek's scores. Michael Bolton..........meh. No big loss.

I definitely agree...he's just seemed so listless and lost.

I'm such a cynic- I think "Boogate" is just another ratings ploy! Certainly got a lot of people talking about it- on news shows and entertainment shows- just sayin'
#89

DWTS Cast

Well that's funny because I've talked to 2 other (totally separate from each other) people who were there that say the audience was booing the scores.

I thought they were booing the judges too. As much as I dislike Sarah Palin, it is just tacky and rude to be booing her in a place like Dancing With the Stars if she is just there to support her daughter.

That said, I am not sad that Michael Bolton got voted off. That doghouse thing was odd and Chelsie was dragging him around.

Understand if the audience was booing the scores. My cynical minds tells me that ABC made it into a controversy about Palin and that's what I meant by a ratings ploy!

^ I wouldn't doubt that. Last season it just seemed odd how they always put Kate on at the end of the show, when everyone else gets rotated.

The producers of the show defended Bruno's comments towards Michael Bolton and said Michael is not going to be given an apology:

"Bruno's role as a judge is to give his honest opinions on the quality of the dances he's judging, which is what he did in this case," the show's producers said in a statement Wednesday."

"While we respect the feelings of our celebrities and dancers," say producers, "we don't feel Bruno should be expected to apologize for doing his job."

What did you all think of Bruno's comments? I think if people were that upset with Bruno they would have voted Michael through to the next round, but they agreed with Bruno and they sent Michael home.

I just thought it was funny that Len actually called him out on it. There was the joke made about Len actually giving Bruno lessons on how to be nicer that totally hit the nail on the head.

This is the most painfully boring episode ever. Thank goodness for Jennifer Grey.

I actually thought tonight was pretty fun. The camera work was a complete mess, but I would assume they were just issues with the new space. I'm not a huge fan of Situation, but I'm not with the judges on their scoring. I feel like he's, at the least, showing a bit of improvement each week compared to Bristol who dances like she doesn't care.
#98

DWTS Cast

Maybe they should go ahead and Jennifer the trophy.
#99

DWTS Cast

Right now it seems to be between Jennifer and Audrina - with Jennifer having a big edge. I do agree with you CATS, that it does seem like the Situation is at least making an effort and trying to get better. Bristol seems like a nice enough person, but she isn't improving at all.

Though I'm no fan, I think what The Situation was asked to do in his number was light years more difficult than what Bristol attempted. I will say, however, that our entire family gets a nice chuckle when she is introduced as a 'teen activist'.

And for last night, Jennifer Grey was on a completely different level from the rest.

Question: what's Jamie Lee Curtis' connection? I've seen her in the audience at several shows.
