Divine (god) put out an entire album of disco. She signed mine when I won a Divine lookalike contest and said something like "pretty good-almost DIVINE!" I'm not home to look at the cover right now.
She was just too fabulous.

I hate to be nit-picky but...
Divine was a he and never intended to go by female pronouns. Divine's family and John Waters and company never referred to him as a woman.
Similarly, you would not refer to Charles Busch as she because Busch is an actor not a drag queen.

Jane, I am SO JEALOUS of you right now! I wish I discovered him when he was alive. I adore him. I just bought the book 'My Son Divine' and I plan on reading it during my vacation. Thanks for the pics!
