Anyone think that Evgeny Plushenko is Adrian Brody's Blonde Russian Cousin? I do :)

I cannot stand Plushenko's style, but I also cannot deny his talent and strength. His programs are so ridiculous to me, but the difficulty and execution are hard to deny.
With him as a lock for the gold, I am very glad that Weir is in such a good position for the silver. He skated beautifully in the sp.

FYI - I would suggest not logging onto MSNBC after a certain time because they've been posting the results on the front page of their website.

Exactly Dottie...thanks for that heads up...I've come across results of other stuff by accident these whole olympics...it stinks! It is tough to watch heats, prelims, finals, etc. when you already know who took the gold Figure Skating Chat

I'm really surprised they post the results since NBC is broadcasting. At least on television they say look away when they're about to announce a spoiler.

I remember in 98, Meredith Viera of The View, announced that Tara Lapinski had won the gold and Michelle Kwan the silver. That really put me in a bad mood that day (especially since I wanted Michelle to win).

Better yet, don't watch any tv or log onto any news sites at all today!!

Good morning, Jane2. Men's long program is tonight.

Tomorrow, ice dancing begins.

As I believe the men's competition has already begun for the evening, it's probably best to stay away from the television or news websites for the time being.

That's true, but only if you're watching CBS. I don't think ABC would make those announcements, do you?

I think ABC would post the results just for the fact that NBC is airing the games.

Yeah I agree about them posting spoiler and stuff because I want to log on to nbcolympics.com and articles and profile and stuff like that, but since I don't want to know results ahead of time, especially figure skating, it makes it difficult to do so!

I've actually seen those pics before!

I also want to get some sunglasses like he has!

BTW, Johnny need to shave his face! All that prissy attitude that he's giving doesn't look good with that stubbly face!

I have never ever seen Johnny Weir before these Olympics, but damn, I think he's my new favorite.
His skating is just so fluid, it looks awesome. Very talented.

And that picture just made me love him x10.

I can understand the ICK-it's weird (pun intended) to see that baby face with that definition.
