I can't find one of my slippers. There really isn't that much floor space in my room for me to lose it in, so I'm wondering if I somnambulated and threw it into a toilet last night or something.

The wind is so strong here. Lord only knows how fast it's blowing...
I wasted almost the entire week in terms of getting school work done. And... I can't really waste any more time. Once I get started, I'll be fine, but agh.

It's 12:42 and I just now got out of bed. Somehow I don't think today is going to be very productive. : )
My cousin was visiting for a few days from out of town. She used the word "amazing" in every sentence. "That's so amazing to me", "amazing", "I find that so amazing", "I'm amazed."
I ended up giving her a poke every time she used the word after the second day.
No wonder the word has lost its weight.
So, yeah. It's really. ****ing. cold. outside. It's 21 degrees, but feels like 7. And it's only going to get colder. Yaaay.
SOOO much work to do today. i need to get off of here. ugh. haha

I am making cupcakes for my class. The class where we will end up having 30+ desserts for 34 people. Oy.
I made the cake vanilla. Should I get vanilla or chocolate frosting?

If it's such an "oy" situation, why don't you bring an entree?
I need to figure out what I'm getting for my seminar's potluck, too. Hm.
My mom just told me that we're definitely going to be in NYC again this summer! Hooray!
I had to drive home last night to see the Movin' Out tour with my mom. On the way back to school I hit a squirrel.

The "oy" was not for the situation of making cupcakes itself. In fact, I enjoy doing it.
The "oy" was referring to having so many desserts.

Right. So...why don't you bring an entree?

Oh, I get it.
The reason I'm not bringing an entree is because I'd be the only person bringing one and that would mean I need to make a lot- 34 people worth.
Also, this is just a last day of class thing, it's not supposed to be a full "meal."
Although it's going to end up being a "dessert meal."

I'd make hors d'oeuvres. Not that much tougher than pastries to make en masse.
I think I dug myself too deep with this paper. When I thought up the idea, I was like "yes, this is going to be great!" but now it's making my head spin.
Ah well. One bit at a time.
I'm excited. I'm going to see my little 7 year old cousin (she's in a children's choir) sing holiday songs.
She's so cute. When she was younger, she told me: "I'm gonna go on American Idol and sing Patsy Cline!" So. adorable.
