Fox News scores lowest ratings in history; Network likely to fold

"A rough week for "The X-Factor" made it a brutal week in the ratings for Fox, which established an historic low-water mark for a big broadcast network during the key November sweeps period.

The Nielsen company said Fox's prime-time average of 3.8 million viewers last week was smaller than any recorded by ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in November. Fox also finished fourth among the young viewers that are its most sought-after audience."

Ouch. Well it had to happen eventually. Farewell, Fox News!

Maybe it's funny to you all those people about to be out of work. Plastic surgeons are about to feel a big hit. First nObamacare and now this! I am very very very concerned. Will the most trusted Botox in TV news still be able to afford over the counter hair dye. Hashtag very concerned.

Wow the graph shows how awful the ratings are at Fox News! This was last Thursday night!

#1 (Red) is a Rachel Maddow infomercial for her all Lesbian cruise.
#2 (blue) is a CNN special with Randi Rhodes and a Muslim Cleric discussing the war on Christmas (Going great!)
#3 (green) is a Modern Family rerun on USA
#4 (black) is the premiere of that new Ryan Murphy show on HBO about the Gay Twins who become Boy Scout leaders.
#5 (pink) Is Fox News- Bill O'Reilly one-on-one with Hilary Clinton on Sodium Pentathol.

Joe, Fox is doing so poorly and is so worried that they are currently letting MSNBC advertise on their network.

Well I imagine a lot of the Fox employees are going to be scrambling to find a spot after Fox folds. I hear that Bill O'Reilly is negotiating to do a Point/Counterpoint at the end of Rachel Maddow's show. She will, of course, start each response with "Bill, you ignorant slut."

With ratings like this on Fox, you can bet all the Registered Nurses in New York City and the surrounding metro area will resign en masse first thing on Tuesday. (Maybe not first thing, actually, because LaVerne brings the donuts on Tuesdays, and they probably won't quit until after they've had a krueller. Still--by noon there will be NO NURSES left in NYC.)

Fox Broadcast Network has no bearing on Fox News.
And Fox News is the #1 cable news network in ratings.

Don't watch either of them. Except for 'Sleepy Hollow' on Fox on Monday nights. Totally addicted.

If I'm missing something, then carry on and have fun! And pardon the interruption.

Don't shoot the messenger! I'm just passing along the facts reported by a reputable media source: Fox News ratings are the lowest ever registered by any network, ever.

If you factor out the number of viewers who are sleeping as they "watch" fox news, the numbers dip below the "margin of error."

FOX is really struggling. It's a shame to see, but they haven't had success with new program development for a while.

A few bright spots, but the ratings dropped after the World Series break in the Prime schedule.
