The Riches
The Tudors
Rescue Me
Giving a pity nod to the Sopranos over one of the above?
And don't forget Sewing With Nancy. It's an outrage!
At least "The Riches" and "Rescue Me" were each nominated in the Leading Actress and Leading Actor category, respectively.

Once again...Harry Dean Stanton, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Chloe Sevigny have been snubbed for their sublime work on Big Love.
I am THRILLED for Kevin Dillon, however.

The fact that John C. McGinley has never been nominated for SCRUBS is a cr1me.

Ana Ortiz of Ugly Betty.
I agree Jon! He does some of the best work on television.
Most have already been mentioned:
Jane Krakowski for 30 ROCK.
Eva Longoria for DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.
Elizabeth Mitchell for LOST.
Mark Indelicato for UGLY BETTY.
Becki Newton for UGLY BETTY.
Hayden Pattersen for HEROES.
LOST in the Best Drama category.
I agree 110 percent on John C. McGinley. Not only is he a brilliant comedic performer but he does some fantastic dramatic accting on Scrubs as well. Then again, even though I think he should have been nominated, it certainly shouldn't have been for this season. This was certainly the worst season of Scrubs so far. If JCM should have ever been nominated, it should have been after last season and his fantastic performances then.

ray, I can't believe I forgot about the wonderful Becki Newton!
John C McGinley defidently. Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton should've gotten acting noms for Friday Night Lights.
Ashley Jensen should have been nominated for either Ugly Betty or Extras, but especially for Extras.
Out of all of the major entertainment awards, the Emmys are the most political. So seriously, don't glare too hard. It hurts the brain.

No major noms for Battlestar Galactica, which has gotten huge support from the press over the past year.
I was shocked at the ommission of The Tudors for practically everything.
... and where the **** was Weeds? This is the best show on television right now in my opinion. Mary Louise Parker and Elizabeth Perkins got well deserved nominations, but what about Kevin Nealon and Justin Kirk and, oh, I don't know... a nomination for Best Comedy Series!
Battlestar Galactica's omissions is sad. When it was voted one of the top 10 TV programs by the TV critic's, I hoped that the Emmys would get a clue.
Instead, we have such thrilling nominated fair as Boston Legal. Hasn't Emmy kissed William Shatner's ass enough?
Also, it would have been nice of them to give Lauren Graham a nomination this year, simply as a consolation for her seven years of terrific and consistent work on GILMORE GIRLS. The fact that she was never nominated astounds me.
NIP/TUCK got nothing...except one make-up nomination.
How?
WEEDS definitely deserved a Best Comedy nomination but it may be too controversial, not even the writing team got any nominations. At least 30 ROCK got the recognition it deserved, hopefully some awards will help the ratings. It truly is one of the smartest comedy on television.

The Tony Awards
Lisa Kudrow gets nominated but not Lauren Graham?
Eric McCormack wasn't nominated for Will & Grace, which is a shame especially becuase the other main 3 were. And I think he should have been nominated over Debra Messing, but whatever.
What's with 3 Tony Bennet noms?
And I agree, enough with William Shatner.
I think Kelly Bishop has been consistently brilliant in her supporting role as Emily on Gilmore Girls. The fact that she has never been nominated is a tragedy (OK, tragedy is an exaggeration, I know it's not a tsunami or flood or anything, but you know what I mean).
