i personally love grace kelly, ice in her veins or not...nympho or not...
dial m for murder
rear window
to catch a thief
high society
the swan
the country girl
...she was magnificent!
I like Grace Kelly too. Different strokes I guess.
"Dial M" is one of my favorites. So stagey, but in a wonderful way. It's weird to think it was originally shot in 3D.
I'm generally indifferent to Kelly. Of course I think she was beautiful, but her performances mostly leave me cold. But I also think that was generally how she was cast--as the distant, cool beauty.

I saw it in a rare 3D screening back when there were projectors. I remember enjoying the novelty of it.
I saw it once, too, and all I could focus on was that lamp that seemed to always be in the foreground.
i remember watching dial 'm' on tv as a kid and thinking it was "stagey" like a play.
i didn't know back then that it was based on one...and then it made sense to me.
i remember it being briefly re-released in the 1980s in it's original 3-D format, but never got around to see it.
Dial M is out on Blu-ray in 3D, but it's gotten a mixed bag of reviews.
Like this one.
“Blondes make the best victims. They're like virgin snow that shows up the bloody footprints.”
Alfred Hitchcock
The only Hitchcock movie with Grace Kelly I like is Rear Window. I think her natural icy presence helped the character, regardless of if she meant it to.
Dial M didnt have you at the edge of your seat?
And OMG Cary Grant and Grace in To Catch a Thief... if you wanted to create a genetically perfect person, those were the two to do it!!
its sad though, they drive on that highway where she died in the movie
Dial M was originally in 3D??? How...fascinating.
I love that movie...and the way she says 'Tony' throughout.
