Now that Paris is sent back to jail, can we release the black teen who is jailed for child molestation for having sex with the girl two years his junior?

How 'bout the West Memphis Three? Anything there?

Dame, I bow to your superior Television watching skills.

I do remember "reading." - Newspapers are the rock you'll usually find me under.- That the policy had changed and overcrowding was no longer cause for letting people out early.

I'd love to find that article and vindicate myself, but I can't.

So you may consider yourself the victor supreme of all things concerning Paris Hilton and the L.A. Judicial System. At least one of the two topics is worthy of study.

If Paris had a medical condition that would keep her from jail, it should have been brought up BEFORE all of this. The jail has a perfectly good hospital that takes care of inmates with much worse medical conditions, such as Severe Heart Desiese, AIDS, etc.


What did she get sprung for, a friggin' hang nail?

Anyway, I'm glad she's back in the slammer. Other prisoners don't get to go home because they're unhappy. So poor widdle Pawis has to serve out her sentence? Tough f**king luck, kid.

And can't they put her on work detail or something in prison?

Everyone who goes to jail has emotional distress, THAT'S THE POINT OF GOING TO JAIL!

Cripes, if she hadn't of played the pity card AND begged the Govenator to let her off, AND if she hadn't played STUPID in court, AND showed up on time AND not tried to blame someone else...

Then maybe, just MAYBE I wouldn't mind her being let out early

But, instead, because she’s has a following, they ARE going to make an example out of her. She doesn’t have a job that she would be fired from. She’s financially secure and wouldn’t miss a thing, besides her cushy lifestyle and 1000 thread count bed sheets. Why would they want to make an example out of someone that no one knew? They HAVE to punish her, or look like an ass.

I think it's sick that this is called "Breaking News" and other things are called "Breaking News" too- things which actually deserve the title- (School shooting, terrorism...etc.)

**I have this feeling that during the Tony Awards, they will cut in with: "BREAKING NEWS: PARIS HILTON BEING RELEASED FROM JAIL FOR 2ND TIME!"
...or something like that.**

The sheriff has issued a statement.

a statement to the press, Baca said, "There's 20,000 inmates the largest jail system in the United States ... It's very overcrowded."

According to Baca, 90% of the inmates in L.A. County jail are serious felons -- many held on murder charges or attempted murder charges. Paris was a "low level" offender -- who usually serve 10% of their sentences.

Baca also said that he reassigned Hilton based on "her severe medical problems." Baca said that her "increasingly deteriorating problems" were evaluated and added, "This lady has some severe problems."

Baca added that she was medicated when she originally entered the jail system ... and "I can't trust her tenuous status," referring to her mental state.
