I am helping with costumes for my old schools musical this year since a senior wanted to direct... well, I am about ready to choke a b*tch! This little brat decides that she can't make the trip to our costume source (which was scheduled without consulting me-the full time student who has a job) so I had to go by myself and totally GUESS on what to get because she only gave me a vague list with no sizes. Well, I found, what I thought, was a lot of good stuff... cut to this week where she held a costume try on session without me there- and these are vintage dresses!- and then had the nerve to rant on facebook about how nothing fit her "Tiny cast"! I was livid! A) They're doing Millie. It's a 20's show the dresses can be big. B) Since I was not there I could not fit the costumes for alterations C) SHE DIDN'T GIVE ME ANY SIZES! So, I shot an email off to the supervisor saying that I was offended by this behavior and I was not going to find this girl anymore costumes. Well, she just messaged me of facebook being like "sorry I didn't tell you about the fitting." and that she found more costumes and could really use some help once they come in. She found them from a source at her dance studio.... a dance studio that always has notoriously awful costumes... I want nothing to do with these crappy things.
Her attitude and organizational skills are awful... and her supervisor needs to be doing more then sitting on his ass, because not to sound like a brat, but the girl isn't me and can't multitask (especially with a 30 person cast)!
At least I have been offered the solo directors position for next year...
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofuPosted: 2/7/10 at 10:34pm

The commercials were disappointing. I only liked the Dodge Charger commercial and the Doritos commercial with the kid that was on youtube long before it showed up on Super Bowl Sunday. I felt bad for Peyton and I saw my Eli rooting for him but he was probably pulling for the Saints a little bit too. At least they lost to the Saints considering both are NOLA boys with their dad being one of the great Saints ever.

I cannot be the only person who got a little tipsy during the Super Bowl. Right? Bueller?
I have a road test (Yes, it is pretty pathetic I waited this long) on Friday but we are expecting two consecutive days of snow Wednesday and Thursday. My parents tell me I should not be stressing about passing since they do believe I am ready but then I have fears of parallel parking that goes all the way back to an episode of Doug. Hear me out: In the show Doug's sister Judy failed her road test in parallel parking a bunch of times before getting it right. Yes I am a total 90s dweeb.

So guys...I'm a little heartbroken right now. I mean...not full-blown heartbreak...but the girl was here for the last two weeks. Nothing happened. I mean we had a lot of fun together but she made it very clear that she didn't want anything romantic to happen. And for me it's like why did we have those very specific conversations about what was gonna happen when you were back if that wasn't at all true? Why were we calling each other babe and sweetie and stuff if that's not at all how you feel about me? We didn't talk about it full out, but we did talk a bit. She said that she's always an a**hole after things happen and she doesn't want to do that to me...but she kinda already did by talking like it was gonna happen. Unless she just choked when she got here. Argh. I'm still very pleased with our friendship and most of our trip, but booooo.
People tried to warn me and told me not to wait for her, but I said the worst that can happen is that I get hurt and I'll live. And that's true. I will live. In fact, I'm only giving myself today to sulk. She left this morning to go back to Iraq. It's amazing, I could FEEL when she got into town and I can FEEL her being gone. It actually is helping to know she's gone. By the time she gets back and we get to talk again, I'll be fine and she won't know. But booooooo.
