So I just bought the new cast recording of Hair. I am in love. I don't know how I've lived without it for so long. Kacie Sheik is my favorite! (along with Allison Case of course, but that goes without saying)

LOL I'm not sure I could get away with that. But I have fallen asleep in the conference room on my lunch breaks.

I only have a week of work left until I leave for Tom Sawyer rehearsals in Ocean City. Aside from being up early and hungover, I'm gonna miss this job a lot

Haha I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to just curl up under my desk. Especially if I'm not feeling well. I'm not sure why, but that's where I want to go...right under my desk. LOL. BB I hope you start feeling better. :)

So I think I got majorly DENIED last night. It's hard to flirt over texting...cause you can never tell if they intend what they say to be playful, but it felt like it just screamed DENIED! Awesome. She's definitely helping me quell this crush quickly. It's probably what she's trying to do since she leaves in 8 days for Iraq, but...boooo.

Sorry to hear that, LL!

I literally used to nap for about 2 hours under my desk on a fairly regular basis. It was a totally lame job (proofreading ads for the yellow pages). Needless to say, the company is no longer in business.

And I LOVED that Seinfeld episode! I didn't keep an alarm clock under there. Didn't need one. No one seemed to care that I was napping!

Thanks, guys. It's not that any doors necessarily closed. I just tried some hardcore flirting and she was giving me nothing back. I can't tell if she was playing, too, or not. She seems to have this idea that I'm sweet and innocent (bwahhaaaaahahahahaa) and will NOT believe that I'm not. And/or doesn't want to. Perhaps she's into that. She's the one who actually likes the fact that I don't really have much experience cause as she said "I'm a good teacher. " She also fancies herself as a badass who doesn't take instructions (except from those above her in the army obviously). So when she told me that she was pretending that my texts were from an officer and she was needed back on base as a way to get away from her brothers who are visiting, I asked if that meant I can boss her around. Since I'm the "officer" who beckoned her and all. And she was like uhhh not so much, but don't take it personally, I don't listen to anybody. And I said...hmmm I bet I could get you to follow my orders. And I was really flirting hard and she was like uhh yeah...no. And no matter what I said she was like hmmm no. Yeah I don't believe you. Yeah ok? And finally I was like wow...you're not givin me anything! And she was like nope. At some point I did get a . So I guess that's good. I feel like maybe if I had heard her intended tone I wouldn't have taken offense to it. But somewhere in there I was like, ya know...I'm not sure if she's playing around or if she's just like shuttin me down, here. And then when you start wondering that, you start feeling dumb. And it sucks, because I was actually doing a really good job with flirting! Usually with her I'm like oh yeah well...I can....a;flkjaf;ojf;lfkjs...I got nothing. Haha.

None of it's really a big deal. Although I did send her an email of facebook last week with the link to a song and the lyrics. And it's a sorta fun/naughty song. She hasn't had internet so she hasn't seen it yet. And now I think I feel stupid having sent it. BLAH.

bb, that post on your blog...hahahaha. I'm putting it in my favorites though so I look forward to reading your updates! I started a blog once, where I wrote a very long essay about the appeal of boy bands and linked NKOTB to the Jonas Brothers, but that was the only thing I ever did. It's probably floating around out there still...maybe I should pick it back up. I figure I have enough trouble updating Twitter with something interesting, though, so, maybe not.

luscious, how confusing! Sorry she wasn't giving you anything...I hate text messages for that very reason. Don't feel stupid about sending that video, though. Maybe it'll swing her back your way again.

OMG Scmherg, how weird is that?! I was just singing "Find Your Grail" last night and my family thought I'd lost it because I was at the part where Sara R. draws out out the word "gray-oo-ay-oo-ale, find your grail". My house has high ceilings so my voice bellowed and was WAY louder than it should have been. Love that song.

L, I'm sorry she's doing that to you. As much as I like girls I forgot to tell you that we are CUH-RAZY and really confusing. Although I'm not crazy. But then again do crazy people actually know that they themselves are crazy? Hmmmm.....
But I know it sucks. Hopefully this whole thing will work out or you'll find an equally exhilarating, spine tingling, mind numbing crush soon and something other than phone-tag will come of it.

BB, that baby picture is both frightening and somewhat fascinating. I'd say maybe 60-40.

So I'm going to be starting my clinicals soon and like the idiot I am, I chose to do 3 days in a row of 12-hour shifts at the hospital. I can barely work for 4 hours without needing a midday nap. I'm basically an octogenarian with the attention span of a gnat. I'm sooooo obviously screwed!!!!

LL- That's obnoxious. It sounds to ME like she was flirting. Like she refused to back down from her officer position and joking around like that. But what do I know? You probably don't want to get involved with someone leaving for Iraq anyways :/ I'm sure soon you'll find someone who's amazing AND staying in the country! :)

faith- Well, we're not really getting involved. We're just talking, getting to know each other, and sometimes flirting. I think you're right and I think I was just being a little oversensitive. It's just so hard to tell when you can't hear their voice. Granted, if I could hear her voice I probably wouldn't have had the guts to say some of that stuff. Haha. She just texted me a few minutes ago saying that the movers came to get all her stuff and her room is really depressing now. She leaves in 8 days. It's getting real. And to be honest...obnoxious probably is the right word for a lot of the way she acts...but for whatever reason I'm charmed by it. LOL. Maybe cause I get to see the other side, too. Not many people do.

BUT I did find out she's only going for ONE year and not TWO like I thought. WOO!

I just bought a MASSIVE bag of Swedish Fish at Sams Club and I can't even tell you how ill I feel after eating probably about 60 of them...

I'm watching The Real World right now. I'm usually very tolerant of obnoxious, entitled famewhores, but I seriously want to injure these people. Most infuriating season yet (besides maybe Las Vegas).

I'm warning you ladies in advance...I'm going to a Poison/Def Leppard/Cheap Trick concert tomorrow night, where I will undoubtedly get super intoxicated and come back and drunk post on this thread. Don't be alarmed.

ahh all this talk about food and it hurts to eat because of the damn orthodontist appointment this morning... I need to buy foods tomorrow that make me not want to cry

but my braces come off August 20th!!! so excited.
