The page seemed long. I figured there'd only be another post or two before moving it to the next page.

For me, it cuts off around the halfway point in the sentence/line.

ETA: Whoo! My job is done, and now I can go to bed. Night!

Those were some random pictures, Nic. re: U2 Thread: The saga continues...

I'm off to read Spenser's The Faerie Queene and probably fall asleep after a canto or so. Night all!

Hey all,
I have a midterm tomorrow (yuck) and I need a break from the little studying I've done. Anyone here to entertain me? re: U2 Thread: The saga continues...

Oh, guess what I just signed up for? The World Record Breaking Longest Kick Line! Haha. Doesn't that sound like fun? It's in Times Square, and it's supposedly led by the cast of The Producers!

I'm here...waiting for Phil to be on Letterman. Ugh, I really hate the beginning of the Late Show. Paul Schaffer is so annoying.

When's the Kick Line, Claire? You shall be a little part o' history! re: U2 Thread: The saga continues...

lol Tiff.
It's on March 7th. And I signed up (through SeatFillers) but I just found out that apparently I'm not necessarily confirmed, although if they want to break the world record it seems like they'd want as many people as possible.
Yep, I have Letterman on mute now as I pretend to study.

OH! I forgot to tell you guys - we're buying tickets for Franz Ferdinand on April 28. It's a relatively small arena (13k seats) and it hasn't been selling as quickly as you'd think, so we'll probably get some pretty good seats. WOOHOO!!

As you check in with us..."and pretend to study." Yeah, that's Pretend (with a capital P, mind you!) What class is your midterm for?
And yeah, you'd think they'd want everyone they could get. If you're going for the record, why not go all out?!

Tiff, you wench! I found out about the 2 NYC dates (with Death Cab for Cutie) the day after tix went on sale...SOLD OUT! Blast! They're going for crazy prices on craigslist too. I'm hoping some will drop down to face as the concert gets closer.

I got email alerts about those NYC concerts (Franz Ferdinand/Death Cab) and desperately wished I were home during that time. I was more excited about Death Cab, though. Tiff, are they playing with Franz Ferdinand at the concert you're going to?

Eh, for tests like that, I don't think there's really a whole hell of a lot you can do. I'd just read over the notes a few times and call it a day.

Have either of you heard about the new Reese's with CARAMEL?!?!? I just saw the commercial for them again. TORTURE! It sounds heavenly.

And yeah, they're playing with Death Cab, who I've never listened to before. Any good?

*sigh* But I want to go to everything...and that includes the 15+ Broadway shows that I need to see. Speaking of which, any thoughts on shows you might want to see Saturday, Elph?

J'ADORE Death Cab. More than FF. They're amazing.

Nic, I've tried the Reese's with Caramel and was slightly disappointed. I mean, they were good, but...I dunno. The PB/caramel combo didn't really do it for me, even though I love both individually.

I'm not really up to speed on Death Cab either, but I've heard great things.

How was the caramel in the Reese's? Is it that oozy Caramelo-type caramel, or is it more of the chewy caramel? It's got to be the Caramelo caramel for me. I was SO disappointed in the Junior Caramels, when they ended up being the chewy caramel.

What's that Cynthia Nixon show? MIRAAAAANDA!!!!

I saw the commercials for Reese's with Caramel, but couldn't find them anywhere in Washington!

What style of music is Death Cab? I'll DL them tonight.

Cry me a river, Nic. re: U2 Thread: The saga continues...

It's the Carmelo-type caramel (not chewy).
My fave Death Cab song is A Lack of Color.
Mabs, have you seen Jersey Boys?

Rabit Hole is Nixon's show. It's supposed to be wonderful, but I guess rush is kind of hellish on the weekends. I definitely want to see it at some point...Any interest in The Color Purple or Jersey Boys (it's supposed to be good).

I'd be up for Jersey Boys. I was tentatively supposed to see it "sometime" with another friend, but we have so many things we're supposed to see over the next couple of months, it wouldn't be a big deal if that's something you'd want to see...And if you wanted to see Barefoot, I'd be interested in seeing it. It doesn't look like they have rush though (just SRO).

I would choose Jersey Boys because it's gotten some surprisingly good responses. But then again, The Color Purple performance on Oprah - I thought - was great. But I'd probably go for Jersey Boys.
