Link me. And then I'm gonna do that work I've been holding off on. Rent threads on the OT board are the most effective way to get me the hell outta here!
MABELLLLLL!!!!!
Don't kill the Crazy Roomie until AFTER I get the law degree!
Saw this and IMMEDIATELY thought of you:

And Kitz, it's soooo not funny but after seeing your rant (which really wasn't that bad, you weenie louse!), I sort of started cackling at the response it got (or lack thereof).
I hate dumbasses. They will all suffer the wrath of Kitzy.
Excellent link, Miss Tiffany!!! HAHAHAHAHAH!!! Thank ya muchly!
I just popped onto interference to see what was up with the setlists of late for the 4th leg, and apparently tonight they played DESIRE(!!!), All I Want is You, and LOVE RESCUE ME(!!!) though there's some debate as to whether or not LRM was played in full (if at all). Though that'd be a boot I'd like to get my hands on if it was played!
Love Resue Me and Desire???? *dies* (Especially for Desire.)
Was this still Brazil?
Yeah, the 2nd show. I'm going to go see if there's been an update about it. There was some bickering in the setlist party with that Axver guy which was getting a little melodramatic, so I figured I'd just wait until the show was over and pop back in.
Axver's the guy with those crazy statistics, right?
Yeah, that'd be him. He made some comment about someone who had (according to him) seen too many shows, so someone was like "you're one to talk, you freak! You've got 23,000 posts" (sadly, no mention of his ridiculous setlist statistical knowledge) and then it escalated to jabs about him and his e-girlfriend or something. Whatever. He was saying something about anyone who goes to more than 10 shows is nuts, but last I knew, he went to all three Boston shows and is going to a hell of a lot of the NZ/Australian shows, so...quit your bithchin!
Aaaanyway:
01. City Of Blinding Lights

09. Beautiful Day
10. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
11. Love And Peace Or Else
12. Sunday Bloody Sunday
13. Bullet The Blue Sky
14. Miss Sarajevo

16. Where The Streets Have No Name
17. One

21. With or Without You
22. Yahweh
23. All I Want Is You
24. Love Rescue Me

EEEEEEE!!!!
ETA: It's official (as if it wasn't before): that Axver kid's a FREAK! No particular reason, but reading more of his nuttiness has just solidified it for me.
Have they consistently gotten rid of Miracle Drug now? Bastards - why couldn't they do it in leg 3???
I think MD has been out of just about every show since whenever that was in November on the 3rd leg when it was replaced by OOTS. You just missed it getting the boot.
Some Axver weirdness. Someone was said something about it being intersting having AIWIY/LRM close the show for the first time, and Crazy replied mere moments later with: "I never said that on U2VT. Both AIWIY and LRM closed shows on Lovetown.
Edit: sorry, missed your edit. And I need to check on AIWIY now, I thought it had closed two but that actually may've been Pride ..."
Seriously, who knows this ****?? I have an unnecessary feel for the setlists on Vertigo, but there's no godly reason for an teenager to have hundreds upon hundreds of shows memorized with crazy statistics about what song closed a show over 15 years ago!!!
It's really sort of pathetic (useful for us once in a while, but still) to have that much time to compile statistics like that! Seeing 10 shows a year is NOT that big a deal.
Case in point:
Axver: I was thinking of the two Lovetown shows that had an encore of Bullet/RTSS/AIWIY/NYD/Pride.
WHAT?!?!? The TWO LOVETOWN SHOWS that had an encore of BTBS/RTSS/AIWIY/NYD/Pride??? Who has that information, on the top of their head?!?! I've got one Lovetown show that I listen to fairly regularly, and for the life of me, I couldn't tell you what the exact encore was in it! Is he some sort of idiot savant? Does he have a photographic memory?? Or is he just plain crazy?!?!?
I think 10 shows is about the extent of what I could handle on a tour. Granted, most of my shows were in one leg, w/in a little over a month, but I really felt done after that last MSG show. I think if they'd come back to do stadiums in the spring I could have gone to one more show, but that was about it...BUT, it's the fact that he doesn't see something weird about his obsessive statistical knowledge that gets me (and the fact that he's going to end up going to 7 or so shows...what's three more?!?!?)
I kinda skimmed through the last few posts on the crazy guy because I'm tired and *someone* (read:Tiff) messed up our margins and I'm too lazy to scroll back and forth. But anyway, I don't know why everyone hates Miracle Drug! I kinda like it (which is ironic because I've only seen it played live once, in May, and the rest of you can't seem to get away from it). And about the Brazil setlist, it has some great additions! It's far from a perfect show, though, because there's no Bad.
I don't hate Miracle Drug. I was just getting really sick of it by the end of "U2 Week" in October. I'd say a good 50% of my distaste for the song was Bono's excessive rambling before it with the little "bum-bum-bum...ba-da-bum-bum-bum" in the background for 5 minutes while B went on and on about Edge being a spaceman from the future. By the time they actually got around to playing the thing, they'd already played the intro music long enough to have done the whole damn song!
Anyway, yeah..Bad's been kind of scarce lately, which is always sad. I'm just getting giddy for NZ. ONE TREE HILL!!! AAAAHHHH! I'll be exceedingly disappointed if it doesn't make an appearance somewhere in that stretch of shows!
I would say they HAVE to play One Tree Hill in Auckland, but then again I won't get my hopes up. They didn't play Angel of Harlem or New York in NYC on this tour (they didn't play New York, right?).
But Edge was the "kungfu master"!
OTH HAS to be in NZ. It just HAS to be. Then again, you'd think a New York-honoring song would be at an MSG show and it wasn't, right?
Damn you and being 43 seconds ahead of me!
Ahhh, great minds think alike!
Yeah, if you'd told me that Angel of Harlem would be played once on the Vertigo tour, with 8 dates in New York, I certainly wouldn't have expected that ONE performance to be in TEXAS!! WHAT?!?!? I really can't believe they couldn't have thrown us a bone and played it acoustically once.
I've got to get this to the next page. That picture is killing me!
Still no?!?!? Ugh!
Here, little Leaf Phoenix. Hard to believe there was a hot talented actor waiting to bust out of that obnoxious kid from Space Camp!
Ok, this is the last one. If it doesn't bump us to a new page, that's just too bad.
I leave you with some bread. Because I've been obsessed with bread and all things carb lately. Mmmmm!!!
ETA: BLAST, it didn't move us to the next page...But really, that bread picture ended up being HUGE, so it's really just as well.
Night all!
Is it really long for you guys? It's only about 3mm long for me, so it just cuts out the ad on the right side!
I mean, you COULD just ask me to get rid of it if it's screwing up your stupid monitors. *raspberry*
