As I've stated before, I think Andy Cohen hates women and hires women who hate women and themselves. He makes these shows super cheaply and when any of these woman try to assert their worth or negotiate they are fired. I agree that some of these bitches who make the show compulsively watchable (ie Danielle Staub) deserve more money.
The people on these shows are in a double bind. They realize they need the face time to sell their wares and become a brand and BRAVO knows that and pays them a pittance. BRAVO also often times wants a cut of any thing they do outside of the show.
It was pretty clear on the FLIPPING OUT reunion and that Jenni and Jeff know that they need each other to make the show work. She was about to leave to pursue other gigs, but she realized she needs the show to stay viable. Jeff appealed to her because he knows without her the show becomes static and he could very well be cancelled too.
BRAVO is like the whorehouse of networks and Andy Cohen is the pimp. He has no respect for any of the people on his shows. He mocks them when they are not in front of him and they are completely expendable to him. He and all his rich celeb friends (Sarah Jessica, Neil Patrick, Andy Cooper, et al.) sit in the clubhouse and make fun of these people as if they are TV characters and not real people.
