I was very moved by her presentation before the memorial montage. I looked for her friend's name as it played, but didn't see it - and now I can't remember what it was.
It was a different look for her - she usually is so 'modern chic and sleek' - but I thought it was a beautiful dress, and she carried it off well.
i thought her hair was very sally hershberger and kind of shaggy/butch for the outfit. a halter is a flattering shape for most people. i love that she chose color instead of her usual neutrals. she is usually so sleek in armani, this was a bit out of charcter for her and i applaud that but she walked like a footballer and that is problem.

GG - it's not a problem if you're someone who likes footballers in chiffon
i'll admit right off the bat that i have lusted after jodie since freaky friday (i didn't see taxi driver until years later, but i saw ff in the theatre), so take that disclosure as you will.
she looked f*cking fantastic. when i saw her i screamed, "omg, she looks f*cking fantastic!" my wife ran in asking, "who? who?" she saw her and admitted, "wow, she does look really, really good." i was in awe. for my money she was the most stunning woman there.

Randy Stone
STONE , Randy
(48 Died of heart failure at his home in Beverly Hills on Monday, February 12. Although he started his career as a child actor, Randy made his name as a television casting director, cutting his teeth at The Landsberg Company. He won an Emmy for casting the movie of the week "The Incident". As Head of Casting at 20th Century Fox Television he was responsible for shaping the "The X Files" and "Millennium". He developed and executive produced the feature film "Little Man Tate" with Jodie Foster and Dianne Wiest. He won an Oscar in 1994 for producing the short film "Trevor," a tender and humorous tale of a young gay boy's attempted suicide. Most recently, Randy produced the Lifetime film "A Little Thing Called Murder," starring Judy Davis, for which he won the International Press Academy's Satellite Award. The movie was based on the bizarre true crime story of Sante and Kenny Kimes. Randy also co-founded The Trevor Project, which operates a national 24-hour hotline for gay and questioning teenagers and distributes educational materials to schools around the country to help troubled teens.
Randy is survived by his two sisters Marie and Malia, his brother Jeff, his mother Beverly, his father Richard and his two Chow Chows, Cooper and Lola. Here was a man that was so full of life, brimming with a kooky charm that lit up the room. His passionate spirit and tireless friendship will be missed by all.
Services will be held on Friday at Forest Lawn's Old North Church, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive on Friday at 8:30AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Trevor Project, 9056 Santa Monica Blvd., Ste 100, West Hollywood CA 90069

Thanks for posting the obit., Elphaba.
I thought she looked wonderful.
She was beautiful, as always...but the girl doesnt know how to walk in a dress.
She'd do well to take a coaching session with Miss Jay.
She looked amazing, but then she always looks amazing.
God, those eyes...

jodie foster looked beautiful. she really has grown into a beautiful woman. when she was younger (freaky friday, taxi driver, foxes) i really didn't think she was pretty at all.
