YAY!!!!!!
This is the final season for "Lost."
If they go back in time again, Ben should kill Trevor Nunn as he's signing his Night Music contract.
neal - hope you're not Yaying that it's the last season!
Just that it's arriving soon.
Sad it's the last season. Very glad that it's coming back in 2 months.
Cannot wait! Looking forward to it, but I am kinda sad it's ending.

i am angry that I specifically signed up for classes on Tuesday night because LOST has always been on Wednesday for the past two seasons or so (I think it was on Thursdays as well)... but anyway... when i found it they are moving to Tuesdays... yeah I was pissed! aaarggh! and yes everyone is telling to get a DVR but I just can't afford it right now... dammit!
won't it be on hulu?
so excited...can't wait

Has anyone seen this: http://www.amazon.com/Lost-Complete-Initiative-Orientation-Blu-ray/dp/B0027CSPS8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1259860432&sr=1-2
I'm totally splurging and getting it! Too cool to resist!
I'm thrilled for its return and I'm also glad that V comes on right after Lost. Anybody listen to The Lost Podcast with Jay & Jack? I love it!

yes it'll be on hulu... but it's just not the same watching the day after online...
Yeah, I'm very excited to see this final season. I will miss it but I'm happy to see it end on its own terms.
That Dharma Initiative Orientation Kit seems like a huge ripoff considering the price. It costs twice as much as the reg'lar one and for what? Some paper and the Geronimo Jackson disc? I contemplated it but I'd rather wait for some huge "The Art of Lost" tome and snap that up.
I have been watching this show since day one. Back then, it was just about watching this random new show that Dominic Monaghan was on. Now, I think it's going to end up being one of the best television shows I've ever seen.
Pretty much. I signed on cuz it was a J.J. product and Dominic was a draw, too. Who knew how ambitious it would get!>?
I actually started watching because the promos before season one intrigued me. I love Survivor, and thought a dramatization may be interesting - who knew it would turn into what it did??? I'm totally obsessively hooked and agree it will go down as the best TV series in history.
I've been holding out on buying the series on DVD until after season so I can get the entire series set that's bound to come out....
this is still on television? with a war going on and the economy in the dumper and so many out of work it is shameful that they are wasting precious national resources on this!
I actually feel sorry for you, papa.
Papa, you make no sense. Entertainment is an industry that provides jobs for countless people.
ANYWAYS! MY SEASON 5 BOX SET SHIPPED!!!!!!!!!!
lost is an abomination gnawing at the sphincter of humanity and anyone, anyone, who contributes to this racist, homophobic and anti-humanist twaddle is an enemy of progress and a boil on the anus of america.
so very very sorry for you
Well, sorry to disappoint you, papa... But I will be watching.
But, LOST is all about the nuances of human existence.... the island is no ones to claim, just like the Earth... and all of the people have justifiable reasons for what they do. No one is clearly good or bad, just as in life. And if you're gonna bitch about no gay characters I thought Mr. Friendly's store was satisfying. Granted, it has a heterosexual love triangle, which I'm just sick of (ahem*Glee*ahem) but the triangle became a rhombus and then something else and on on on.........it's just good storytelling, buckaroo.
Can't wait to hear Sawyer utter his first nickname. =)
Gavin, don't bother. It's not worth the typing.
So I'm betting Hurley is going to end up the "hero" of the whole show. Any takers?
Just venting a bit, jasonf...
I think the whole show is going to come down to whether or not the island and its unusual abilities/properties will be shared with the world. I think Jacob and the Man in Black are on opposing sides of whether to ever share the island with the world. Man in Black sees only destruction from the people who come to the island, whereas Jacob sees infinite rehearsals for the day when, finally, humanity will prove itself "worthy" of taking part in the island. This rings true with how we as people have continuous opportunities to progress socially, technologically, politically, and so forth... we always have opportunity for redemption (like the 815 survivors).
Much like we, the audience, are having the shows mysteries withheld from us, the mysteries of the island are withheld from much of humanity. We know it is a special place, long sought after by those who would exploit it, and could benefit humanity greatly if (like the Macy's accessory wall) we use it thoughtfully.
And, yeah, I agree Hurley (and his weird bird from seasons 1 and 2?) must figure prominently in the end.
Who won't make it to the end? Will we see Walt get his due? What's up with the volcano on the island? Does Sun's garden now bear papaya fruit? Where is Shannon's asthma inhaler?
I also saw an interview with J.J. Abrams where he said all unanswered questions will be answered by the large statue of the broken off foot we saw in season one and once last season (in it's entirety).
And...Claire comes back this season! Where has that girl been? I'm so excited to find all of these things out!
Will the two groups in two different time periods EVER reconnect?
