one of my friends thinks its to make sides. Sharks vs Jets. Beyonce vs. Taylor and it will play out later in reference to west side story. She wants to know where Kanye came from. Did he just walk up on stage? Whether my friend is right or not, that was still rude of him to do.

Lady Gaga is entertaining, to say the least! She's so nuts, I can't hate on her too much.

Poor Taylor. Even Beyonce looked mortified! Just when I was starting to think Kanye was kind of endearing...

MTV needs to be shut down and built from scratch. This is the biggest mess I've ever seen. Talk about an embarrassment to our current culture!

Our current culture, and what passes for talent and entertainment nowadays, IS an embarrassment. MTV just reflects it.

I remember the days when the MTV Music Awards were at it's best. The most controversial thing that happened was Madonna singing like a virgin in a wedding dress or Howard Stern being lowered over the stage as Fartman.MTV execs only encourage bad behavior and conduct. As a matter of fact, Kanye may win an award for this stunt from MTV.Can you imagine if someone did this at the Oscars?

I've only been watching since the end of True Blood, so I missed the Kanye drama. These are my thoughts so far:

- Love Green Day, don't think they picked the best song as their new single.
- Work it, Beyonce.
- The Katy Perry close-ups are annoying as hell.

Beyonce's was a good performance, I just wish she really sang! I know it's stupid to expect that nowadays, but she's one of the few who actually can pull it off live. There were tidbits here and there, but I'm SO SICK of that stupid dance. I'd rather hear her belt it out than watch that go down again.

Ughh. Just watched what Kanye West did to Taylor. What a petty and selfish move by him. Seriously, of all the awards that Kanye West complains of Beyonce not getting, it's an MTV Award?! Seriously?!

And even then, someone should have just pre-superglued his chair before the awards started. At least it would have given Taylor Swift enough time to finish her speech.

I find Beyonce to be a shrill-voiced rip-off rather than the best performer of this generation. I've never been a fan of her and still don't understand why people fawn over her voice.

Never could stand Kanye either. Irony is, I LOVE Gaga.
