Posted: 9/13/09 at 11:34pmYou guys. Aren't you thinking this is a titch Bruno's-butt-in-Eminem's-face? I mean, their dresses matched and everything.

I don't know, Namo. I'm usually the first to say "Oh, come on. This is STAGED."
But I can't figure out hoe Kanye benefits from this. Eminem at least got to do some macho posturing, which he would think is good for his image.
What does Kanye get out if it--and this, the continued meltdown backstage:

Posted: 9/13/09 at 11:46pmYeah, I'm usually good at spotting BS, but I don't think this was faked. Taylor and Beyonce both looked shocked, and Kanye is such an effing douche that I wouldn't put anything past him.

Maybe the Beyonce bit was staged, but I doubt the Kanye meltdown was prepared. Or else they wouldn't have kicked him out.
On another note, P!nk scared the hell out of me with that acrobatics performance. I love her for it though!

Posted: 9/13/09 at 11:47pmThat's from two years ago. Kanye gets to be the bad boy again. He obviously doesn't give a frick. And Eminem got the macho posturing and then once it was revealed to be staged he got to be a good sport who isn't homophobic at ALL because he knew it was coming.

Ok So the producers knew Beyonce would WIN that awards so what they told anyone who wins the LAST AWARD of the night to being Taylor On stage..;.

Posted: 9/13/09 at 11:55pmI really don't think it was staged. He's be banned from MTV for life. (Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.)

#91re: MTV Video Music Awards 2009
Posted: 9/13/09 at 11:58pmBut then Taylor Swift would have to have been told in advance that she won?
#92re: MTV Video Music Awards 2009
Posted: 9/13/09 at 11:58pmI don't really know if it was staged, but some things do seem fishy.

Posted: 9/14/09 at 12:00amI honestly think Kanye West was justified. He was doing what anyone else would have done when faced with that situation. He reacted in self-defense.

Posted: 9/14/09 at 12:07amI am re-watching it. Did it happen in the beginning? I was on the phone when Beyonce did what she did but saw the replay right after. Kanye is just a jerk. Goldigger is one of my favorite songs but I won't buy it just so I don't put a cent in his pocket! The host is awful! He was on The View this past week and was awful on there also. Enjoyed the MJ Tribute though.

You can actually hear him say "Give a black man a chance!"
I think Obama would have something to say about that.
