Posted: 9/9/05 at 9:36pmjust happened to catch the new Motorola commercial (which is very cute btw), and playing in the background is an all-too-brief snipet of Madonna's upcoming single 'Hung Up'. If this exciting 30 seconds is of any indication, the song is gonna be HUGE. I cannot wait to hear it in the clubs.

I hope the song is a commercial success, because the AMERICAN LIFE singles were all flops on the Billboard charts, which was dissapointing considering they were Madonna songs.

i would hope so!
lol, j/k... but I have the right. I just feel she's obnoxious and I personally really dislike (despise even) her music. I give her credit for being different and trying to grab attention, but she annoys me.
Just my opinion though, so for all ya Madonna lovers, I don't care... I'm just not a fan.

You cared enough to make posts on the subject.
People have been saying Madonna is tired for years--and yet she still keeps churning out the hits and winning the awards and selling out concerts. People would write 10 page articles on how Madonna is over. Well, if she's really over--why 10 pages on her?
It's laughable. It's laughable that she incites so much hate from people. For what? She's not a politician. She didn't steal your boyfriend/girlfriend. She didn't piss in your Cheerios. Why the great grief?

Because it's not like this is your first time to say something nasty about her--and it's just rude to other people on the board. If you don't like her, skip the thread.
I don't reply negatively to people posting respectful criticism. (If someone doesn't like Madonna--that's fine. We can have a debate if one arises). I don't reply negatively to people who comment negatively once or twice. But those people who HAVE to be nasty every chance they get are CLEARLY trying to offend--thus, I will jump on your ass if I'm of a mind to.
And, I will ultimately laugh at how stupid it is that you post so DRAMATICALLY on something you don't like. Just move along.
I thought WICKED was a fun show. But I HATE seeing 25,000 threads on it on the main board. Gives me a headache. Do I post rude things on those threads? No. I just skip em and keep on keepin on. No need to disrespect those posters or show myself to be a bitchy ass. I can do that enough in other threads!

This is the first time, maybe second (since I miht have said somethin once before) about her. Am I being nasty? I don't think so... DRAMATIC, no. I said I hate her, wooo! I said she annoys me and although I give her respect for what she has done, I feel she is not the most talented singer and just wants attention and publicity and always tries another way to get it.
I'm sorry if I'm not a fan, but I've never posted a thread called the "Let's Hate Madonna Thread!" Nor have been that nasty or posted on numerous threads about this.
I don't like Madonna, end of story. I'm allowed to express my opinion and don't need to skip a thread because it deals with her. You just need to ignore me if it offends you that damn much.

Those are 2 different things, I can respect her and appreciate what she has done and her music, BUT I do not like her.
So just makin that clear, I'm not just hating her for the hell of it and not giving her any respect or appreciates that, yes, she does deserve.
