How to choose between Abu Dhabi and Istanbul?
I've seen every Madonna tour since Who's That Girl back in 1987. I was set to sit this one out. The Super Bowl changed my mind. Can't wait to get tickets! Now I just have to decide where...
Gothenburg ON the 4th of July AND I will be in Serbia. lol
I wonder if the tour is just called World Tour 2012, or if a new title is to be announced.
I'm surprised she's doing another tour. I remember the extremely rigorous training she used to do before each tour and worked herself until she had no fat left on her body, lost her period, etc. And that was BEFORE the tour, lol. And then of course, the tour itself drained her of every last ounce of strength. I can't believe she can still endure all that. I hope she can but we'll see.

If I were here I'd call it Lucky Star Holiday Luvin' Tour 2012.
In Japan, she's calling it her Number One Lucky Star Holiday Music Fun Time Tour.
Got tickets for London Hyde Park, so excited.
In a strange twist of fate we are in London that week anyway watching Bruce Sprinsteen in Hyde Park so extended trip to London (good times).
Im glad she is finally going to Australia in the 2013 leg of the tour since she has avoided it since 1993, but poor Japan seem to be missed off again.
The tour does not have a name which is strange and i HATE the art work for the tour.

How much are the tickets going for?
She's finally coming to Seattle (first time since the "Who's That Girl Tour".). I got my tickets! I felt like I could splurge a little on those pre-sale VIP tickets since I don't have to travel to see her.
Anyways, to those asking
Ultimate VIP (first row seating + stuff) = $1750
VIP Party Package (rows 2-10 + stuff) = $700
VIP Tour Package Floor (rows 11-20 + stuff) = $500
VIP Tour Package Bowl (rest of the floor/inner ring of first level + stuff) = $250
Most places that did VIP(Fan Club) pre-sales today are already sold out.
Regular tickets (fan club presales now, Citi card tomorrow, Live Nation Friday, general sales on Monday).
Floor Seats = $355 (~$384 after fees)
Lower Level = $170-355 (~$192-$384 after fees)
Upper Level = $45-$170 (~$59-$192 after fees)
Top of arena = $45-$90
Edit:
Note that these are the Seattle/Vancouver BC prices. Other places might be more (NYC/LA Ultimate VIP tickets are $2500!!!, and those are sold out!)

Floor seats further back than 15th row are awful, even IF there is a runway and a smaller stage at the back of the house. Do not pay $250, rich, devoted fans!

my tickets are next to the stage - 2nd level- first row. Yankee Stadium.
$175. Got them thru ICON. totally worth it.
i've done the catwalk seating before a few times. This time, I aim to have some beers, enjoy from the side and have a blast.
I've seen Madonna's last three tours now, and I also told myself I'd sit this one out. I was really underwhelmed with the Sitcky and Sweet tour which, especially after coming off of the great Confessions tour, felt kinda thrown together--but I didn't really like that era for her in general. I do kinda wish she'd try working with someone new now, but I suspect Jamie King will be back this time as well since he did the Superbowl show. His work with her is just startingt o feel a bit tired and played out (it doesn't helpt hat he is just as busy each year with Celine, Britney, Rhianna etc and their tours--I wouldn't mind if Madonna tried someone new).
I still kinda can't get over her prices. Do people realy pay for those VIP packages? They're sold out? Madonna has complained a lot about how her more expensive seats get bought up byunenthusiastic middle aged audiences who just remember her old hits and sit still for the rest, or for corporate tickets--but with her costs that's not really going to change. To be fair , you see a lot of that money on stage (although when you hear that people like Kylie's last tour was more expensive to stage, and tickets were a fraction of what Madonna charges you do have to wonder--but I guess thew thing is she can get away with it--the way the ROlling Stones can). I'm glad I managed to get Vancouver tickets though which means it won't be a big trip--a bit surprised she's only doing an arena this time when she did a stadium the last time and sold out ion record time for the city, but maybe it was booked. Stadiums are crap venues for theatrtical concerts though so maybe it's for the better.
So yes, here i am complaining about cost, etc, but I have a tickety so shouldn't complain too much (I didn't bother with floor seats this time though--the last time it wasnb't worth it in the end, though I have no doubt she'll use a catwalk again this time).
I loved Sticky and Sweet, i would pay the top price again just to see that performance of Like a Prayer that jaw dropping
I need my hard-earned money much more than she does. I saw one of her tours and it was extremely dissappointing, thanks but no thanks!

I have a Yankees ticket plan and we get a presale which is how I got to see Jay Z-Eminem, Paul McCartney and for the July Roger Waters concert.
They have done a really good job with the concerts there and even though I'm more of an indie; Bowery Ballroom, MHOW, Terminal 5 person, I'll get a couple of upper level seats just to go.
